Replying to some comments here in the pinned comment -
    1) does this car belong to you? - no, it belongs to Hyundai India and they gave me the car for a long term review for 18 months
    2) did I actually drive it daily? - yes, it was my go to car when I wasn't testing any other car or traveling.
    3) is this video sponsored? - no this video isn't sponsored. You can clearly see me highlighting the negatives of the car as well. Besides, whenever I do a sponsored video (which is usually a travel based video and never an editorial/review), I clearly mention the same.

I have been driving the N8 IMT for the better part of 2 years now and it is a delight to drive. I have received 18+ kmpl on highway with cruise control and 10-11 in city. Perfect for sending it at night on empty roads where the least I have received is 7.6kmpl. A con would be the stiffer suspension but in most scenarios that’s a pro as well. I have encountered a lot of major bumps but the car seems to be fine (hurts a tad in the moment). I have it in Titan grey and it really is a head turner. The exhaust note is just enough as it’s a family car as well. A perfect car for an enthusiast who needs it to be practical often. The bose speaker system is fabulous. The only thing I would ask for is red rear disc callipers but I guess I could get it done outside. An honest 10/10 from my side!!

I took delivery of this exact same model in Titan Grey a month ago on 10th May and immediately on the next day its facelifted model got announced and now the Google news app on my phone keeps giving me buyer's remorse by surfacing articles of the facelifted N Line mule being tested on Indian roads. Apparently the facelifted model is going to get ADAS and a better Alcazar-like instrument cluster, both of which I wanted in my i20 N Line. What's worse is that after the BS6 Phase 2 changes kicked in Hyundai stopped giving any model of the i20 a rear armrest in favour of a middle headrest. So yeah, I'm feeling really short-changed right now but at least the driving is fun.

And that’s also partly due to government. A car being sold for 9lakhs to the customer, government is taking 1.2lakhs at showrooms in registration/GST, Dealer margins is another 0.5-1-1.5% and overheads to come to showrooms from the factory is another 1-1.5%. Basically the car is being built at 4-5 lakhs and that’s same for VW/Hyundai.

    Things i dont like -
On big bumps or pot hotes sometimes gives a loud thud like noise from the suspension in the cabin which makes me feel something has broken. Is it a problem with others too??
Ride quality is good but my 10 yr old grande punto drives even better than this one. No comparison to fiat or ford' ride quality
The doors are too light & the confident thud that i hav in my punto is missing
In city traffic in delhi gives me around 10-12 with ac on
The horn is pathetic for a sporty car
Wireless charger heats up & stops charging properly
Power windows dont hv illumination (except the driver side) - its difficult finding the right button at night. Evem old punto has it for all 4 windows
Safety? With 6 air bags, rear disks, heavier body structure (weighs around 1100 kgs as per my RC, which is only 90 kg less than punto & much heavier than the baleno), abs & other numerous safety features on the liat, i think it wud be safer than regular i20 but this variant hasnt been tested by ncap but i believe it wud score more than the 3 stars scored by regular i20. Can FK elaborate on its safety compared to regular i20?? Is it going to be tested separately?
Things i miss at this price
Ventilated seats (which will come in the altroz race)
    Rain sensing wipers
Air purifier that comes in the lower variants
    Wireless android auto
    Type c charging ports
360 camera that comes in the glanza or baleno

My sister drives the turbo i20 not N-line though, car is great, very powerful, handling is good too, very less body-roll..The main question everyone asks me, "Kitna deta hain?"... being a 3Cyl turbo that produces 118bhp, runs with DCT gearbox, dont expect great mileage. Drove the car in a highway for 60kms, i just cant believe my eyes seeing the car gives only 12.4kmpl on the highway!
On the other hand I drive my mom's Baleno RS daily and it averages between 14-17kmpl on the highway. The baleno is way more fun to drive because its a Manual, the downside is that it is almost 17bhp less powerful than the i20 and suspension is too soft. ....

you can opt for other tyres actually even after delivery from the manufacturer(in this case what you replaced will be your spare tyres no ?just the radius needs to be same) and there are minimum 4-5 other colors other than this, generally on this car silver/white looks smooth ,good to look at i mean and it is better than polo realistically but apparently it does not have that much of road presence, people generally switch to upper variant cars like investing around 19-20 lacs and getting creta sort of stuff, overall if you are total family person you can go for suv(meaning going everywhere with family),else if you are single you can go for this, considering you dont like sedans, they dont want to put 16 into this thats why the road presence is less and mostly indian middle class is not accustomed to dct,so that is another reason they get apprehensive(i gave this input considering for a very big change in my life i actually got biased towards a particular something more than required)
