After 6000 km… average of 2k in highways n 4K in Chennai traffic I got 13kmpl average.. first 2k rpm no power but after 2k rpm the turbo kicks in beautifully.. yes suspension is on the stiffer side.. but overall happy with my N8… if u wanna go value for money .. choose N6 manual..
Nice review. Thanks for posting. Recently test drove the n8 dct. Can relate to what u said, the feeling of the drive lingers in ur mind long after u park the car, for sure!! ☺️ Also what music system does n6 have?? The 9 speaker bose on the n8 is mind blowing!!! Nothing to critique about it, only thing is that n8 has some myindia app instead of google maps which i found to be abso useless. Do u have any info about the reliability of the dct?? Heard it costs a lot to fix. Also, have u test driven the kylaq automatic?? why don't u do a comparison video, it supposedly has great driving dynamics. U could give a better picture since u have n line already.
Great video! I had purchased N8 Manual in mumbai this year in mid june for 12.5L including all basic accessories, i have added few stuff like dash cam for front n rear and got a custom number and it cost me around 12.75 on road including all cost❤ #Nline
@@aguyfromparalleluniverse I mean isn't a SUV a better package at this price in terms of road presence. I20 N line is almost 14 lakh on road ...u can get SUVs at that price. Example Kylaq. I think for a hatchback 12 lakh on road is fair.
Broo its a jacked up hatchback not an SUV, also I'll suggest you try backseats on these and compare you'll know what m talking about Everyone jas a different priority list m not saying u are wrong may be you prioritise a little bit extra road presence, But as someone who owns an i20 nline, we prioritise performance over anything and when u start considering cars based on performance i think i20nline is the most complete package Now if you wanna build a similar thing out of mileage priority with decent power you can consider fronx turbo If you wish to prioritise suv stance then u can get those jacked up hatchbacks for road presence may be the best option will be brezza but it lacks space, isnt very powerful and fun to drive, i am getting better mileage out of my i20nline than my friend's CNG brezza Sooo there are many aspects and everyone has different priorities I personally wouldn't sacrifice driving dynamics and performance over anything i hope u understand what i am trying to say here
@aguyfromparalleluniverse I think kylaq will have good power. But paying 14 lakh for i20 feels expensive. I would rather go for normal i20 sportz for 12Lakh. Or else I am waiting for new Amaze.
Let me clear few things N6 and N8 both come in DCT, Both have paddle shifters both have Hill Hold and drive modes. N6 don't have rear wiper, thats Biggest BLUNDER, otherwise its fully loaded. N6 Don't have DRL, But have fog lamps. N8 OEM maps are bulshit and N8 don't have wirelss AA and carplay. Only N6 have Wireless. 0-100 in DCT is ard 9.7 seconds. But Manual is even more quick. DCT is so fun to drive but 1.5 lakh expensive. Future resale will be more for Automatics
Great video man, very detailed. Does the N8 variant get one touch up and down for the driver? Did you feel like changing the tyres? You mentioned the N8 variant gets LED lighting on the inside but in other videos it's showing yellow cabin light. Does the fog lights get cornering function? Thankyou for your time.
Broo to me none of the issues on this car are a deal-breaker, but if i had to get one thing that i could from the N8 it would be the request sensors and posh start button it makes life sooo much more convenient. And i think instead of the headrests not being movable I'd rather take a rear seat armrest
Ground clearance is enough bro, it manages humps and minor offroad well enough, but the problem is when u are travelling fast you will hear the suspension "donk" which is unnerving Boot space is just enough you have to pack with proper thought and planning recently on a 3 day trip of mine with my family the boot was adequate and still we had some space left
Kindly compare it with Baleno fronx turbo in terms of city driving rear seat comfort for 3 people city drivability of both cars in manual transmission in terms of turbo lag . city and highway efficiency of both the cars with manual transmission. Also the space comparison between venue and i20 at the seat for 3 people. Clutch travel of fronx turbo and i20 turbo vs venue turbo
Yeaa bro still working on arranging the fronx turbo if you have anyone you know of who can help me with that then please do let me know coz fronx turbo is a rare car in itself
If you dont have to do a lot of driving in the city traffic that u dont like then you can buy the manual, in my opinion the N6 Manual Variant Single Tone is the most value for money option, you get all the necessary features like cruise control, decent music system and everything cooled glovebox and all, only useful feature i miss with my car is the keyless entry thing because i have to get the keys to unlock the car everytime....
