I brought kia sonet DCT. It's totally amazing.. it's so comfortable to drive in traffic.. no fuzz of constant gear change..and the change is so seamless that we won't feel any jerk or lag when speed go up or down. Also on highway, it so easy to cut other vehicles or overtake lorry or other long vehicles.. the ventilated seat should be a must for all cars.. and the bose music system is over the top..the interior of this car makes us feel we are seating inside luxurious car.. I think Noreen is seating her seat lilttle back so Faisal didn't get much space.. there is no issue of legroom .. but it's more of 4 person car than 5 big person.. 5 average ppl can comfortably sit... Just take a test drive and decide whether you wana get this or not... Once you ride this .. you won't feel like buying any other car with imt, amt or with gear...

I like the way I can relax and drive and if needed I can quickly get that extra power to overtake vehicles by just pressing down the accelerator.its so smooth.. and the way it drives around the curves is awesome... yeah I also noticed hood is hot after long drive.. but nothing to worry..cools down quite quickly..

Your reviews are spot on but one small input.. the head rest for mid rear seat can hinder the rear view for the driver. Unless the car is a tall SUV consider this as design constraint instead of blaming on car companies.

One thing which you didn't covered in review. With IMT gearbox and no hill hold assist feature in lower variants. Rollback on slopes is prominent issue which is considerable pain because you have to rely a lot on Hand Braking.

@@ramboog2654 Tall gearing usually means that a car does not requires much shifting you don't have to worry for shifts whereas when you have short gearing, you need several gearshifts to reach a maximum top speed but in gear you get fun of dragging the car. Kia Sonet iMT does 0-100 in third gear whereas like Faisal bhai said that in 4th gear, you reach 100kmph due to short gearing. Short gearing occurs due to shorter gears whereas longer gears result in tall gearing and gearing ratio also increases

One thing I never understand: Car reviewers complain about not having an automatic/DCT GB with engines like NEXON’s and XUV300’s top models and stating that it would’ve been good of TATA/MAHINDRA would’ve included the same. At the same time for the cars which have these, they complain about them being over-priced for its segment. (You can argue that the venue dct top model is 1lac cheaper than sonet’s top dct model but then Venue also loses on things like 6 airbags and front parking sensors)

Bro you drove on my exact same joyriding route - starting on the JNPT road outside Kamothe, going all the way to Panvel and turning around just before the expressway, and then continuing towards Ulwe. It's a really beautiful route and I felt really nice seeing that a professional feels the same way.

hmm.. Hyundai/Kia is currently tuning their cars for efficiency I guess... The i10 nios goes 0-97kmph in 2nd gear(1.2l) and over 100kmph(1l turbo) and the top speed comes in 3rd gear itself... 4th and 5th are just overdrive
Nexon petrol xz+ manual or kia sonet htx+ imt petrol...which one will be better overall in terms of build quality, body rusting and refinement in the engine ? Look to keep the car 7 to 8 years
I can't understand why Kia is having such stiff suspension set up if that's not helping with the dynamics at all. For many ( myself included)the incapability of handling the bad roads could be a deal breaker.
