I watched your creta diesel review today morning and immediately started looking for your seltos gtx+ dct review but was saddened not to find one. But you probably knew a lot of people will be looking for this and voilà, we have it here. What a coincidence!
When i first got the car (identical to your test car) from the showroom. The gear is felt really eager to shift but this car wheel spins like crazy. They did give an update to slow the jerk but it hasn't helped much. Sport mode is best for a quick overtake. The car feels really rich and expensive than it is.
I’ll have to appreciate that u record such wonderful videos on just your mobile unlike others who use expensive video cameras
Whenever you drive and changes lanes, I always get on my nerves fearing that some car may come and hit you (catch, no body is gonna catch you in those speeds). But here, whenever you turn on the indicators, the blind spot camera comes into picture easing me off. Thanks Kia for this cool feature..😍☺️👍

Thanks for the video Faisal...i am am very keen on buying the Seltos dct model... however i have learnt that dct gearbox has heating issues in bumper to bumper traffic which I will be encountering a lot as i drive in Delhi. How serious is the heating issue, appreciate if you could comment. Thanks
Well I own Kia dct and live in delhi only. Haven't face any heating issue of any sort. Daily driving was 70km. Before lockdown 😌

I have purchased Seltos GTX+ 1.4 turbo petrol DCT Glacier White Colour.... The gearbox is awesome. Super smooth gearbox. Won't b able to notice any gearshifts. NO Problem at all in gearbox neither in bumper to bumper traffic nor in normal traffic. I haven't faced any issues in Kia Seltos. Honestly speaking. Its all about how you drive car because every gearbox has different styles of driving.
Tips to drive DCT gearbox:-
1. When standing at signal which is more than 10 sec. Always pull hand brake/ parking brake first and then put your car on parking mode or neutral mode. If timer of red signal is more then 50+ sec best pull hand brake first put car in parking mode and switch it off. If the signal is of less then 10 sec. stay on drive mode but apply full brakes. I repeat apply full brakes. NO PARTIAL Braking.
2. Keep distance of 5 feet at least between front car or any other vehicles.
3. Do not use Sport mode when you are in bumper to bumper traffic. Do not do unnecessary acceleration while in bumper to bumper traffic at drive mode.
4. Creep function is helpful in bumper to bumper traffic but again if the traffic is not moving or it is very very slow keep 5 feet distance and follow point no. 1 mentioned above now in this case the red signal is the traffic jam.
5. Use Eco mode on highway, comfort mode in city and Sport mode on empty roads or place with not too much of traffic or highway, Sports mode reduces full efficient. Also if you are going on long highway drive use eco mode to gain good fuel efficiency.
