      Could someone explain to me why we need brokers, and make it make sense

    • @entremike
      @entremike  2 года назад

      @@Imagemakerstudios How would you find freight? Unless you’re going to get a big rig & find a local delivery gig, you’re not going to be able to find direct shippers across the region with consistent enough lanes to keep you moving. Most trucking companies are running their loads off of the spot market, especially in the LTL freight industry. We don’t need DOUBLE brokers. If you don’t want to deal with freight brokers, you’ll have to sell yourself to every shipper you possibly can , & if you consistent shippers that ship freight, you’ll still need a load board (broker spot freight) to find backhaul . Thanks for the question! Hope this helped

    I work to hard to take a 450 mile reefer trip for absolutely nothing Texas to Louisiana working for gnelite …., 27% of the gross . Broker claims 1700 bucks lol 😂. “As if “this load yougurt for Walmart prob payed $ 3,000 plus. Well I hope they get the load was suppose to be delivered for 1:30 I’ve never been late to a Walmart but today Walmart distribution will not see David or the yougurt … keep it up eventually you’ll loose all great drivers that hustle. Brokers need to be regulated 10% max they can take .also brokers should be audited to keep them honest.. God bless America 🇺🇸 man because greed will destroy this country . No one does anything rite anymore and everyone wondering what’s wrong w the country .. I’ve been delivering otr away from my fam of 7 since 2016 hoping to get me a truck oneday and according to the looks of it all it’s all b/S the system is rigged credit rigged people are nasty injustice is real. Russians eurepeon s are running the industry in ways no one knows about . Crazy man it’s funny they all want me to work for them as well I think I’m done tired of not seeing the real $ and working like a slave making someone else rich …

    THE WORST. I have been a freight broker for over 15 years and the double brokering has to stop! So many companies posing as carriers only to turn around and post the load for several hundred dollars less under another brokers name. When they cant cover it, they cancel with some lame ass excuse. Ruining the industry.

    Some Brokers allow there loads to be double brokered, some big carriers that have dedicated lanes allow this

    • @entremike
      @entremike  2 года назад

      I agree , this is mainly for scammers, either way it’s not right because it runs down lanes for carriers . The original broker already takes 10- 30% of the load rate, then another takes more. Makes no sense at all..

  • @virginiab1083

    Overtime I’ve picked up on a few double broker clues . #1. The person on the phone is more than likely from another country, they’ll have an extremely heavy accent to the point you can barely understand them. To get around this they’ve started requesting that you email them only…#2 the rates are stupidly low, they’re so greedy they’ve started pushing loads UNDER $1 per mile…#3 They can be extremely rude individuals…#4 As Mike brought out “Quick-pay”. If possible we need to start complaining to the loads boards. If we threaten to pull are business they may do more to prohibit the practice.

    Hey bro. Is hauling cars more lucrative then regular frieght

    • @entremike
      @entremike  2 года назад

      It all depends on who you know & how many cars you can hold. A 5 car hauler is going to make more than a 3 car hauler, but still drain more fuel. Gotta have connections in that game regardless!
