im following through this build guide series, but can you do this on playstation with all the wires etc to get things where you want them, all this press Q and click etc is obvioiusly PC, so wondering if I cant actually use these methods on playstation? Even if I cant use the same tricks, Ive still got a lot of ideas from you build videos, thanks
I'm thinking it's either a PC thing or the Portal structure counts as solid ground. Because when I saw your teleport ring location my first reaction was what happens if he materializes inside the portal structure? Hello Games needs to do either one of two things: the easier one but less pleasant for the players is your traveler materializes last after everything else to avoid falling into the building or to your death. More complicated for the programers would be that whatever the ring or pad rests on is the 1st thing to materialize so if your travel materializes before the rest of the building he (or she) is golden.
You have to act like you're going to delete it but pick it up and move it. Be careful where you place as your ship can end up on some pretty crazy places! Haha

Thanks! I see no point in editing out mistakes i make. Clearly, glitching is not that easy and even when you did that a bunch of times, you'll always make mistakes. Regarding the weekend mission, well that was another 🖕towards some certain individuals ;)

Really like this design on the domes - but how did you change stone rooves to the metal colour styles? or did i miss where you used Alloy for the roves? I try changing the colours and only get limited pale palatte colours
I've built alot of Dome bases. Just looks cool to me. I modified the design a bit. Changed up roof and stone with timber mixed in I put stone arches at the edge of the walkways on land pads and got a natural railing automatically

@@DoubleDashGaming I still feel uneasy in my understanding of your answer. To my knowledge at the you have place registered and start building you cannot just pick up the computer and move it without destroying the whole build. If this is something that has changed this will be a big game changer for me!
You won't delete your base when moving the base computer (Moving being the key word here). The feature to move the base computer was added in a recent update.
I see I have to deal with this wire glitch and how to apply it with a playstatin controller, but I´m sure I`ll find some info about it. This all looks absolutely awesome! Thanks again for this really great tutorial. Thumbs up!
@@requiemagent3014 I took of the roof off one of the buildings so I can put storage containers in it but it didn’t work ans when I tried placing the roof back it didn’t let me place it correctly I can only place it on some spots and the rest no matter how much I move them around they just won’t click in like the rest idk what to do I didn’t manually save so I can’t go back and I also saved when I took the roof off can you help?
Hello! I have been testing this and it doesn't seem to work quite as it used to. Because every time I try to wire glitch my connector is slightly twisted. It looks ok at first but If I try to align things they end up not lined up at all over time. Any ideas?
Bro you never fail to stun and awe me, absolutely amazing how it all looks and came together! I love those cathedral style ceilings and the lighting was too notch and on point. Cathedral ceiling with chandeliers... Wow!!! Awesome video bro, just finished my weekend work and now about to continue my build along with your videos. I must say that I love you content! Good job and please keep it up! But I must agree with some of the comments I have seen that glitching the wires is a total nightmare LOL 90% of the time hitting q+LMBT just places the small wall so one of this platforms would take me around an hour and 30-40 minutes (This has nothing to do with your work, just wanted to point out what I have noticed where I am concerned because I noticed you ask someone what the issue was with placing the wires and they never replied to you in the comments of part 02)
At this point, if Hello Games patched out the wire glitch, No Man's Sky would probably lose a quarter of it's player base lol Community Highlighted bases would never be the same, that's for sure.

Great tutorial as always! How did you move your base computer? I know the latest patch says you can, but cannot see any option to do it.
As of now, you can move your base computer freely on all platforms. Try to pick it up and move it to where you want it to be (In your build menu)

I an update just before the outlaws release, the color pallet was change. So you can use the metal colors any more.

Getting the timing right is a bit tricky, but once you've got it right, it will be easier.

Trash with glitch building alot easier on PC then console glitching the lights with wiring is not that easy on console
on the contrary... it's way easier on consoles than on PC.
Fwiw, you might not have the skill lever to do it on the easier consoles.
