Very good broad look at the industry. The fact that contract rates are declining and capacity is shrinking combined with election results to me means a continuing better results on OTR and markets. Let's see how this play out.
Contract rates declining is NOT a good sign. When they get good rates and rejections decrease because their rates are good it means the economy is improving and then good rates will also hit the spot market. I love Miranda but vehemently disagree with her on contract carrier rejections increasing being a good thing. I believe it’s just the opposite!

I do hope that this new administration brings in better regulations like getting rid of the stupid 70 hours over 8 days and the mandatory 34 hour reset.
Dear Miranda, I love your reports, but there is one thing which bothers me a lot. Rate per mile: we are burning the fuel per mile and maintenance cost us per mile....I've been around in the times when load per mile was the same no matter where you go, from Florida or to Florida, from E to W or N to S or other way around. My point is "market price " is made by brokers and I still see that brokers take 60% or more of the load price. Personally confirmed , maybe not all of them but majority. Load gets who is faster on the phone or on email not who pays less. Along with other problems that, I would say is number one.
The barrier of entry is piss poor too. English alone is a requirement or law if you may, so therefore you should have to read a couple paragraphs out loud fluently. Why do we have to use a translator to get something across. @MikeGalloway-j5n supply in demand, too many trucks, not enough loads, and brokers are getting owner operators taking cheap rates. BTW my dump trucks are working full time, I had to adjust some of my trucks elsewhere. Any president is not going to change it. We need to lose some of these truckers and let supply go up again.
I find the topic interesting however, with the big three auto makers, John Deere and a lot of other heavy manufacturing laying off and getting ready to be hammered by tariffs along with the tariffs that we are going to be seen coming in. I would like to ask all of you how you think your freight is going to increase, if less freight will be available and a lot of manufacturing jobs are gonna be lost. I’m sure a lot of you go to Laredo Texas. Use some common sense. It’s not going to get better for a long time.
Had a broker post a load for the next day for $2100. He sent me the same load but made a mistake and said it picks up today, and it pays $2400. Brokers are greedy leeches, and we are a joke to them.
Trucking won't get better until 2027 mark my words there are way to many foreigners in our American market who knows nothing about trucking yall better be ready in the hazmat field because they're going to come and drop the rates as long as there is greed from The top and who doesn't give a shit about who they screw over at the bottom we won't see a raise in rates don't believe it's gonna get better in 2025 I'm already seeing lives of hazmat drivers trying g to get fuel out of the fuel facilities here in San antonio, you gotta stick to a bottom line and make it work for you
I don’t give any credibility to those talking heads that you are citing. That’s just me. I think you’ll see improvement in the late spring of this next year and a good market in 2026,2027. Until then, watch your costs and “ Bake 💃 Dance!”
Okay am saying this before the video starts. Don’t tell me about any publications or any wise opinions. They all said the market was coming back this year. Not 2025. So they don’t have any credibility with me.
This is the new norm. learn how to survive and thrive in it or get out. It will be like this for at least the next two years. Fuel will go down once trump gets in, hopefully the rates won’t.
Great info young lady. Why are drivers waiting for the market to improve? Haven't we learned anything? Why do robbers love Banks? Because that's where the money is. Why do entrepreneurs get into freight brokering? Because THAT'S where the money is!
People that are hoping Trump will change the business for good were probably not in the business 2019-2020 winter.. companies were dying just like now. Covid crediting changed the situation for 2 years inflating the sickness and postponing the healing
As someone with millions of cdl road miles who has been in trucking since 2021 as driver, manager, dispatch, company owner i can say Miranda you are smarter then 80% of this freight experts that are being paid millions for this reports but have no clue what they are talking about. I will correct you if diesel drops down to $1 drivers will not make much more because brokers and shippers will drop their rates imediatelly telling you fuel prices have come down its just common sense in trucking industry problem is when fuel goes up brokers and shippers are not adopting imediatelly then it takes long time for them to addopt when they have to pay more. Also if this winter we got a lot of snow i will not predict i guarantee good paying loads will be in upper midwest where there will be lot's of snow, ice, road closures etc it's allways like that more risk more proffit, many drivers will stay down south where is nice to drive so freight prices will drop on south because of so much trucks and not enough freight it's common sense. I think we are entering recession and only way we can avoid it if next administration can achieve what they promised so we can Kick the Can down the road a bit more before recession. Thank you again for video and everyone be safe out there.

Fuel will go down, that’s our biggest expense.
@MikeGalloway-j5n Capacity is too high. It doesn't matter whose in office, you might get a short boost for the holiday but nothing will change.
Good afternoon beautiful
Wasn't inflation transitional?
Trucking is just messy right now nobody has control over anything especially the pay and it's new rules everyday 🙄 trucking was fun b4 covid
BREAKING: FMCSA seeks transparency ‘duty’ for brokers and impose regulations on them. Source: Overdrive
Had a broker post a load for the next day for $2100. He sent me the same load but made a mistake and said it picks up today, and it pays $2400. Brokers are greedy leeches, and we are a joke to them.
$3.25 plus an FSC as the base bottom line. If inflation rises rates rise. Problem solved
I like your rate $3.25 THE MINIMUM let's promoted.
Trucking won't get better until 2027 mark my words there are way to many foreigners in our American market who knows nothing about trucking yall better be ready in the hazmat field because they're going to come and drop the rates as long as there is greed from The top and who doesn't give a shit about who they screw over at the bottom we won't see a raise in rates don't believe it's gonna get better in 2025 I'm already seeing lives of hazmat drivers trying g to get fuel out of the fuel facilities here in San antonio, you gotta stick to a bottom line and make it work for you
Who has the logistics number and extension for the cartel? #TwoLoadsPerMonth
I don’t give any credibility to those talking heads that you are citing. That’s just me. I think you’ll see improvement in the late spring of this next year and a good market in 2026,2027. Until then, watch your costs and “ Bake 💃 Dance!”
it's not going to 2021. but $3.25 plus would be good.
More mumbo jumbo but Miranda is lovely
Great info young lady. This is normaly peak season in trucking season if your not making it now youll be in trouble 1 quater of 2025 which in history consumers spent on holidays then thay dont buy much in 1 q. Plus look at geo politics. And ask why the billioniars not in the stocks but holding cash. Its says market correction to me.. Stay skinny folks.. If your eyes and ears are open it says it all... Be safe be well
Is not gonna get better this the new normal been doing this for 10 year and this rate was alway the same price only different living cost more now
All I heard was on the other hand
NO IT WILL NOT THE ONLY THING THAT WILL CHANGE IS THE YEAR 2025. 45 YEARS OF DISRESPECT OF TRUCK DRIVERS NEVER CHANGE NEVER WILL STOP DRIVING SHUT THIS WORLD DOWN
I enjoy exploring 😏
Excelent commen👍
What did Trump promise you?
2025 not wiil be better than 2024 you will see .
Indian truck industry killing
Miranda there is a very important fact that you are missing, trunb word means money on hand, he promise a golden age for America and I am expecting 3 big money years, that’s all that I need to retire with my pockets full of money and going back to my country 🇨🇦 the 4 year of his presidency is going to be hell on American soil and I don’t want to be here 🏃🏻♂️🏃🏻♂️🏃🏻♂️
!!!I already own shares of NVDA and PLTR. I'll also add TSLA to my portfolio. But I'd like suggestions on long-term opportunities to explore that could make solid additions to my $260k portfolio for stable cashflow..
As a newbie investor, it’s essential for you to have a mentor to keep you accountable.
Ruth Ann Tsakonas is my trade analyst, she has guided me to identify key market trends, pinpointed strategic entry points, and provided risk assessments, ensuring my trades decisions align with market dynamics for optimal returns.
I managed to grow a nest egg of around 120k to over a Million. I'm especially grateful to Adviser Ruth Ann Tsakonas, for her expertise and exposure to different areas of the market.
I don't really blame people who panic. Lack of
information can be a big hurdle. I've been
making more than $200k passively by just
investing through an advisor, and I don't have
to do much work.. Inflation or no inflation, my
finances remain secure. So I really don't blame
people who panic.
Without a doubt! Ruth Ann Tsakonas is a trader who goes above and beyond. she has an exceptional skill for analyzing market movements and spotting profitable opportunities. Her strategies are meticulously crafted on thorough research and years of practical experience.
how would you recommend i enter the crypto market? I am also looking at studying some traders and copying their strategy rather than investing myself and losing money emotionally.. What's your take on this approach? and How can i reach her, if you don't mind me asking??
Trucking will not improve it will flat line even more.
If double brokering stops then rates will go up . Trump's already looking into it.👍
Trump is a blow hard.. he doesn't have the guts to impose the tariffs.. The tariffs would be bad for trucking and the country.
First
It will improve but not much. It is survival mode 2025😊
F a Truck
If trump starts his tariffs the economy will go down!
I was about to say please don’t repeat yourself because you sound like a broken record. 😅
Hahahahah
December will see a up tick in trucking and California loads out of Bakersfield areas will go up due to produce from Mexico will reduce over Trumps be reelected. So their will be a light at the end of the tunnel. Fuel is already lowering so give it a little time.
