“Ghost Love Score” - one of Nightwish’s real hymns and one of my first double bass drum songs I played when I got my double pedal six years ago - just to get me into triplet patterns as my dad said back then.
Time has moved on, Nightwish have replaced their singer by magnificent Floor Jansen, and drummer Jukka Nevalainen left for health reasons. Still, his powerful drumming, the metal guitars and the bombastic sound of the London Symphonic Orchestra make this song a timeless 10-minute power tune - I just had to go for it again!
Let yourself be carried away into the world of symphonic power metal, and during the two long orchestral passages - to the beauty of Icelandic nature.
