Elias rocks - Drum Covers
I’m an 19-year-old drummer from a small town in Bavaria, Germany.
This is where I want to share my love of music - all kinds of styles and songs, lots of rock and never without an interesting drum part. This can be quite challenging at times, so I’m planning to upload a new song every two to four weeks.
You fancy what I do? Hop on and follow me! My music is not your cup of tea? Never mind! In any case - keep drumming!
I couldn’t have started this venture without the help of a lot of people:
Michael Zinsmeister, my piano teacher, for his keyboards and the final mix of the intro tune.
Frank Pané for his great guitar work on my intro/ outro tune and for letting me rock with him.
Michael Schremmel for his superb photography.
Last, but by no means least, my long-time drum teacher Tom Höpfner of Studio4 for his enthusiasm and the endless extra miles he has gone or rather run for me.

Also there's a question i was asking myself, I see you're using the full leg technique at 170bpm, for me that sounds like a leg killer, do you think it's preferable that i learn another technique such as the ankle technique or should I do it like you?
Yes, sure, in my opinion you should of course try out a few more techniques for double bass. I think you soon will notice, which technique is best for you and the most efficient. Actually, I can't even tell you, why I'm using this technique now, but somehow it was the one that worked out for me the best. Regards :)

Wow! I've been a Weckl fan for many many years. It's a really great pleasure to find a drummer who can play at that level...cause that's a high level indeed. Drums sound really really good. Great tuning...and really nice cymbal selection. Congratulations. I'll be watching for future video's. BTW...good production on the video as well. Especially the sound and the mix. Very important ....especially on stuff like this.

That's a good question: So honestly, I can't remember anymore, and I dont't think I was thinking too much about that when I played it ;) But from what I can see, I think my left foot layed steadily on the HH pedal, and the rest was caused by my right/ left hand's movement.
