- It is always captivating to listen to Nightwish's epics, especially with the incredibly versatile voice of Floor Jansen. It's difficult not to dream of being on stage with such an inspiring band. I threw in bits of Mr. Kai Hahto's drumming into Mr. Jukka Nevalainen's live version, since I love them both Ⓚ

Great one man. Was gonna comment on some of the Kai vibes (good ones!) I got, and then I read the description. Only thing missing is Kai's trademark left hand/right hand style switch ups, but that's something he typically reserves for Wintersun. I assume you're not a leftie by nature like Kai? Honestly I learned Kai through Nightwish, and I didn’t know how beastly Kai’s drumming can be until I listened to Sons of Winter and Stars because of your recommendation… yes I’m not a leftie, but that’s not going to be the reason I’m currently incapable of covering that song. That blast beat in the beginning is not in my arsenal yet… but thanks for the wonderful recommendation for an incredible song and a good goal for me to strive for! I really appreciate your support. @@drummerkristlin My pleasure man. I've no doubt that you'll master it in due time and you're absolutely right: being a natural leftie is not in any way required. Just a little hint I picked up from Kai's drumming, being a leftie myself (who, like so many, learned on a standard right-hander kit). Cheers!
BTW: not a fan of Kai applying blast beast right away in the beginning, but that's just personal preference.
