    Simple test that I’m curious to run on my stage 1 ( 1.8T ) engine.
    I see a lot of inter upgrade.

      Can’t wait to log it. On the TT lot of guys install a front intercooler.
      Stock is two little on each side. Have to think about it.

      Those two can be kind of good, a viewer of mine shared his log with me yesterdag and those 2 little ones suprised me haha... But I can imagine a big one in front might be a lot better

    Hi, I know it is an old vid, but you will always see the tmep increase with the rev range, a better intercooler will never stop it going up, but it will reduce the amount it goes up by and reduce heat soak the more pulls you do

    • @megalodononwheels
      @megalodononwheels  2 года назад +1

      Thank you for adding 👌 You are 100% right... It will go up as you are doing your pull, it will just be ideal to see it stay the same temp as outside, but unfortunately it will only happen in a perfect world

    On VCDS I see the Intake air temperature and coolant temperature but "ambient" is not in the list of sensors. It looks pretty simple so I don't know if I'm doing anything wrong or if my Engine module is just different (2013 Jetta TDI)

      Sometimes it can be your car that doesn't have the option available or your car is just using a different name :) i have data logged one of my friends car and sometimes the wording is a bit different or when you search something there is sometimes more or less stuff for the search term :)

      Lol 🤣 yea the problem with forced induction is the heat 😭 also depends on the heat outside that can make it look even worse haha. But yea one can easily see 10 to 20 degrees hotter temps when accelerating when one has a crappy intercooler
