Thank you for this dude. I’ve started tracking my car’s ECU data and this video explained everything about my new lambda sensor perfectly. I’ve done the same experiment and logged my AFR or Lambda Actual Value, and the findings are really useful. Keep it up 👍🏻

Hey buddy 😎 super glad to hear all went great! Also i made a part 2 to the AFR reading and it might help you out if you are struggling to read the end result! But glad i could help with some info ☺️💪

Very helpful video! Can I use this method for a mk3 vr6?

I have never tried it on the Mk3 and the VR6 engine unfortunately so I am not sure... But I hope you can 💪 also i made a part 2 of the AFR testing. A follow up on this video so just make sure you also have a look there 💪

hello , I have a 2010 A6 4f2 with 2.8 fsi CCEA engine multitronic fwd, I dont have adv. measuring values the option is greyed out, I have measuring blocks only.

    • @megalodononwheels
      @megalodononwheels  2 года назад +1

Ahhhh no... See with my car, I don't have the Measuring blocks 🤦 it has to do with the type of ECU...
There is 2 different types it can connect, UDS and CAN...
So most cars are CAN and sometimes also UDS (so Both) and other Cars are just Can or UDS... so your car is CAN and mine is UDS 🤦

@@megalodononwheels measuring blocks are annoying, nothing is labeled , its all voltage, voltage , temperature, temperature, you dont know what is what 🙄 either that or I am just a noob

Haha... The MB are also very useful... You can see the Timing Chain Stretch and much more! They should really have designed it in such a way sothat we can use both... No matter if your UDS or CAN... But i thing i like the AM a bit more 😜

Good evening, I'm sorry if I disturbed you at this hour. I have a question. I have a VW Golf 2016 1.6 TDI. Does the vehicle keep cruise control records? If such data is stored, can this data be accessed? I would be very pleased if you have answers. Thank you from now. Good evening.

Hi, hope all is well? 🙌
Unfortunately your car doesn't save any logs like VCDS does. The only thing they do save is STFT and LTFT. I made a video about it a few weeks ago. Its not close to being a log but can be logged and valuable data can be collected from it to see how rich or lean your car runs. Hope this helps a bit :)

Thank you very much. I think you recorded it. But I don't know how to access these records.

    Hi. I need some help.
    Oxygen sensor 1 bank 1: voltage raw value O2 signal-lambda: 2.021V
    Is it normal?
My car smells like unburned fuel. Golf 6 TDI 1.6
    Thank you.

Sorry for only getting to you now. It was chaos and my phone's screen is not well anymore haha.
I will be honest, when it comes to the voltage side I am not sure how much volts is within parameter. What I can suggest is to look at your EGR, maybe it is clogged

Hi Mate :) is this normal to get 15.998 lambda before starting the car? After ignition it turns back to 1.000.

    • @megalodononwheels

I never actually looked. But it could be because there is no fuel as the car is off 🤔 but aslong as your car is at 1 when yoy idle then you are good 🥳
