The story probably would've been great to be honest, but his track record for plot holes and bad character development with Kingdom Hearts may have been a deciding factor in reconsidering who should create the story for the project and how it would be executed. I was pretty disappointed to be honest and really did think this new story of his would be amazing, emotional and heartfelt.. but it's just another what if.

Although, if there's a chance that Versus 13, or the idea of Versus 13, can make it to the world, there's no other than Nomura to make it, it is his game, his dream, and with all of his problems, i don't think that anyone beside him can make it, so, if Verum Rex is Versus 13, or the next KH will have the story and ideas of Versus 13, or if he makes a new project with the spirit of Versus 13, i'll support him, i just want him making versus 13, that's all

@@jaysparrI'm not sure if you've checked out the news recently but some new info has come out about Nomura and "Versus XIII" it's pretty sad actually, to Nomura XV was like his pride and joy, then he had it taken away from him and his vision of things were completely changed, on top of that he wasn't even allowed to talk about it, it seemed like the events were traumatising to him in a way, when someone brought it up to him in an interview he responded as so. "Wait, are we allowed to talk about it? Because before it wasn't allowed." And the interviewers response was the same as comforting a man who had something bugging him his whole life yet was never allowed to speak about it, the interviewer said "It's okay now..." To be fair I liked Hajime's FFXV but I think Nomura deserves to have his vision fully realised one day with no caveats, I'll even do it myself one day if I have to as a fan project to homage what it seemed like his original vision was, a Prince who lost everything, a Prince who slumbers to forget about reality but instead it just hits him even worse in his dreams, he rushed to save his Father only to be too late, the next day all of Insomnia attended the funeral for their King, as Noctis goes out into the World, calling the wedding with Luna off to instead pursue his revenge against the Empire, along the way he meets a girl, both in his dreams and in the real World, her name is Stella, that's what I think the gist of the plot would have been, but I'm just making guesses for an idea that I loved the thought of.

And also, a big chunk of his team was taken from him to work on FF XIII. So yeah, he wasn't able to take big steps in his dreamt production, and at the end square enix stripped him from that for the same reason he couldn't finish that game, too many projects at the same time. When they should have taken him away from those others. Btw, Nomura isn't a writer, he produces, directs, sits on the creative chair and imagines how the story goes, there are other guys that take that information and write a script based on that.

Cid Raines, after he is defeated, he turns into a crystal and then is destroyed, the crystal gets broken. that happens because he fails to complete the Fal'Cie mission and for fight by his own. the final ending, doesn't show Sora's crystal being destroyied. but, he failed to defeat Yozora. and i have to tell you that Kingdom Hearts doesn't follow the Fabula Nova Crystallis lore, so, is going to be diferent. but that meens something, Sora failed to kill Yozora.

I even bought video game magazines in French (even though my French wasn't good) back in the days just because they had snipplets of VSXIII news. I even listened to the Japanese KHIII version (I learned Japanese at school and university) and tried to find things that they didn't translate into English.
A few things I got from the secret ending of Kingdom Hearts 3 is that Verum Rex is going to be it's own game in a couple years. There will be a Kingdom Hearts 4 and it will have Square Enix worlds as a majority. Can't wait for both especially Verum Rex and hopefully see what Nomura planned with Versus XIII and if this game will be better than what he imagined.

Well at least look at the positive side, from KH4 on we will have SQEX worlds taken from TV series \ manga and games since Nomura in 2012 said that in the post-Xehanort Saga we will have worlds from SQEX materials taken from such things said before in addition to the disney worlds of the movies and TV series (which will be introduced by kh4 onwards)
So I believe we will see the world of FMA brotherhood, Gargoyle, Atlantis, Treasure Planet, Moana, Zootopia, Nier automata etc ..

Nomura's pen is like the legendary Odin bow Ichaival; the abstract interpersonal cosmology splits into branch after branch, like an arrow propagating in every direction, and each trajectory delineating a new dimensional axis. I really don't get why people look down on that. Are they really so jaded to think that he's just pulling preposterous pulp out of his ass? Do they not see it for what it is, as a means to an end, to carrying on and innovating the series initial conceit of "You never know who you'll run into next"?
So this is the actual name of the song? If so Nomura really wanted to make Versus so bad that it seems to be following him. Personally I wasn't a fan of XV's story and would like to know what he would have done with it.
Whatever the reason is, Nomura still dares to deny any suspicions about this project being related to what they'd shown from the defunct VERSUS XIII. Of course no one knows what the project would be like but him, but it's clear obvious this right here is in some sort of shape influenced by that project. He might be forbidden to tell us directly but it still bites that every suspicion gets denied like fans are stupid enough to believe it. Then again, being silent about the subject would practically give it away as well. Something must be said at least so that surprise still shines when it's time.
While I do think FFXV was a fantastic game and did benefit from not having Nomura. I am extremely intrigued to see what he has in store for his ideas that he may actually bring to light in the next KH game. But if this is a way for Nomura to vent his anger on Square then I just think it's petty since Nomura has completed control for FFVII Remake which I now know that he worked harder on then KHIII.

Nomura's pen is like the legendary Odin bow Ichaival; the abstract interpersonal cosmology splits into branch after branch, like an arrow propagating in every direction, and each trajectory delineating a new dimensional axis. I really don't get why people look down on that. Are they really so jaded to think that he's just pulling preposterous pulp out of his ass? Do they not see it for what it is, as a means to an end, to carrying on and innovating the series initial conceit of "You never know who you'll run into next"?
So this is the actual name of the song? If so Nomura really wanted to make Versus so bad that it seems to be following him.
Personally I wasn't a fan of XV's story and would like to know what he would have done with it.

Whatever the reason is, Nomura still dares to deny any suspicions about this project being related to what they'd shown from the defunct VERSUS XIII. Of course no one knows what the project would be like but him, but it's clear obvious this right here is in some sort of shape influenced by that project. He might be forbidden to tell us directly but it still bites that every suspicion gets denied like fans are stupid enough to believe it. Then again, being silent about the subject would practically give it away as well. Something must be said at least so that surprise still shines when it's time.

While I do think FFXV was a fantastic game and did benefit from not having Nomura. I am extremely intrigued to see what he has in store for his ideas that he may actually bring to light in the next KH game. But if this is a way for Nomura to vent his anger on Square then I just think it's petty since Nomura has completed control for FFVII Remake which I now know that he worked harder on then KHIII.
