Hey man I've seen most of your vids on your other chanel didn't even know you had this chanel until about 3 weeks ago watched all your vids on this chanel I know your busy but feed us more content!! Lol you have good content man keep it up just got a gen7 myself it will be here soon ready to see what you do with yours!
Hey brother! Thanks for checking this one out and finding me lol. More content is coming!! Just had a vacation and got sick, today there will be one for sure. Glad we got the same rig, also ordered a whole bunch for it too!! See you on the next man.
I used some pb on my micro crawler tires. Coated them then submerged them in a jar of it for 6min. Made them softer for sure, not really more sicky and a bonus the tires were about 3mm bigger.
I had a friend who used to race, he had an axle chucked in a drill, and would spray a rag with wd40 and contact cement, and spin the tire against the rag until it got warm. It got sticky sticky. Wd40 breaks down the rubber like the pb, but doesn't leave lubricant. Simple green is good too, and doesn't break down the rubber over time. Especially with predator compound tires that are already soft. Good luck brother.
Awesome video tutorial, I did notice that the tire you’re using in this demo is probably not the injora clone reason being is there is no stamp on the side walls, it’s probably a clone of the original clones, all my injora clone tires have a stamp on the side that say Super Swampers Rocks Tyre, I believe these are the original clones. I have bought a set before from Hobby Park brand and they advertised them as injora clones but were horrible tires, they look exactly like the tires you were demonstrating. No stamp on the side wall. The hobby park ones I have the wall tore it was so thin. I hope this info helps but even among clones there’s a difference. Keep up the awesome tutorials 😎✝️🙏🏽☮️
Man thank you so much, I am trying lol. I believe these were the injoras when I ordered them, but you are correct. No stamps?? I am thinking of another hack involving inserts lol.
Simple green is what I use. Spray them down and put in gallon ziplock bag over night. No wash afterwards just pat dry. This is how I prep for crawling. Try it and see what your experience is afterwards
yah I got mine with the two stage foams good greef were they hard ..pulled foams and replaced with Pro-Line two stage foams not bad now...I do wash all tire when new with Simple Green ..Did this ever since my early nitro days racing...Will try on a set to see the outcome...
I used pb blaster at the clay indoor track racing off road. Works pretty good i thought! Dont wash the pb back off just let them sit in a bag it will soak it up and become dry
I have around 5 sets of china tires, after trying jconcepts tusk, you can feel the difference ( better then the pro line btw ) I do have a chinese fake of Rc4wd, which work good ( as the proline's )
YOOO I have a set that i run 3d printed forms not vented I soaked them in sample green and you have to use them until the break in with takes a while but once the are broken in they perform better Yooo
In the off-road racing end of the hobby.ive been doing this for 10plus years.you need to soke the tire then place them in a zip lock bag.let them sit for a day or more
@@arkansasrcnewbie Dish soap probably. I think most people back then wouldn't have thought nothing of rolling the tires out into the back yard and hosing them off.
Just give them some use bro' that is all you need to do eh' or you can piss around with pb blaster crc wd40 simple green etc & wreck a good set of tires🤔
It will soften them and eventually dissolve them lol that stuff is horrible on stuff like that its only good on metal. Just be careful i dont want to see you ruin your tires 😒
@@arkansasrcnewbie you don't wash it off. You let it soak in. You dont need to dip tire in it either, just dab it on the tire.We do this all the time in carpet offroad tires. I also do this on rtr tires to soften them for outdoor 8th e buggy. Makes hard tires so much better.

Good ol PB Blaster! This stuff was well like at the indoor clay track I used to run at in 2018. People used to mix their own special sauces haha
Dude it helped!! Super surprised, wait till you watch the wd40 episode lol

That's good to know man, thanks! Funny they grew 🤣
good concept. I've read of people leaving tires soaked in wd40 in a zip loc over night to soften up the tires.
Thanks brother, I was thinking of leaving them in that container. But I I not sure qhat would happen...I guess we could find out 🤣
is wd40 same as pb blaster?

Dude, thanks for the idea! Love that, I just might film that!!

Great job dude!!
Very cool experiment
Well thank you man, I am learning 👍👍👍

That is a great idea, maybe simple green vs PB!! Thanks
I have been doing this for years. Can confirm it works. I learned about it racing Short Course back in the day.
Do you dilute it down? or straight? Been preaching simple green as a bicycle mechanic for years because it's safe and versatile

Simple green works wonders on all! Lol Thanks for watching and I may just soak overnight!!
Nice experiment brother. Even if it didn’t work it’s knowledge gained. 🤙🏼☢️
Trial and error baby! Thanks Radioactive ☢
Glad I stumbled on your channel buddy great stuff! Experiment well done! Subbing you buddy!👊🏼👍🏻😃
Oh man, thank you!! That means a lot coming from a seasoned vet like yourself 👍Much Appreciated
any chance pb blaster will remove glue to seperate tires from rims?
Oooh, no clue. Dude video it!
It worked amazingly for a dirt track car
I usewd 40 but leave. em for hours inside a plastic bag, I spray mostly on tread pattern
That's what I need to do!!
I wonder if AT 205 would help. It's for rubber specifically.
🤷♂️🤷♂️Gotta look that up, you know I've heard wd40! Not too sure but the 205 is interesting...
Oh I have this, I would think it would make them swell though
I used pb blaster at the clay indoor track racing off road.
Works pretty good i thought! Dont wash the pb back off just let them sit in a bag it will soak it up and become dry
Will look at doing that next time! Thanks for the heads up man, I heard wd40 too??
Yep Use Simple Green!

Dude juat bought some rc4wd tires!! Cannot wait, but you got me excited about the tusks!
@@arkansasrcnewbie they provide so much grip, I can send you videos of my capra running if you like
If you leave a tire soaking for days it will swell up twice it's size.
So.....MUD HERE I COME!!
And now I want fresh donuts....all kidding aside, nice scientific testing of a hack.
Thank you! This is a scientific channel too! :)
YOOO I have a set that i run 3d printed forms not vented I soaked them in sample green and you have to use them until the break in with takes a while but once the are broken in they perform better Yooo
Thanks for the input man, i may do a wd40 vs simple green vs pb!!

Yes sir! Thank you, and no solution in the baggy right?
Scuff them up with sandpaper, open the pores in the rubber let it soak into the rubber better
That would be a great idea, but the club I crawl in says no sanding tires..😌
We use wd40 on tires all the time for racing on concrete oval
You know I heard that too, curious how it would do for crawling? Like heat the tires up first??
Personally I’ve never used or heard about that, I use wd40 to soften mine up it eats at the rubber and then rub off
See that is a good idea too, but everyone talks about the pb lol.
I think I've heard something about ol' timers using Vaseline to soften their tires.
Hmmm???? I bet that would really soften rubber, then i wonder what they cleaned it with afterwards?
@@arkansasrcnewbie Dish soap probably. I think most people back then wouldn't have thought nothing of rolling the tires out into the back yard and hosing them off.
Bro are you uh fighter?
👊Yes sir, fought as an amateur and professionally. Now I teach and coach no gi classes

or just pony up for the real ones instead of knockoffs
I could do that lol.

I use purple power... Scrub down real good with a brush , lightly rinse under hot tap water , set em aside to dry and 💥 boom 💥 stupid sticky tires
Nice! I was wondering if that was similar or if it would eat up the rubber. Good to know, gotta gallon of simple green i gotta use up now lol.
Let it sit overnight
Heard that and gonna be all over it 👍Thanks man!
