Pains me to say this as a huge TG fan and TKO fan but some of the lack of knowledge stares us in the face. The arsenal fan who claims Osihmen hasn’t set foot out of Italy is sub par. He made a name for himself at Wolfsburg, was important to the title winning Lille side in France and now has won serie A while being golden boot winner. You may have your preference in Isak, which I’d agree with. But provide the audience with the correct story especially when you’re voice is on a large platform.

Im a Utd fan Mourinho is a world class manager but arrogant. If he didnt go Chelsea in 2013. He didnt flop at all at Utd or Spurs the owners dont care about football only commercial stuff. Ange will be found out next season then Poch will go back. I'd be surprised if JM wasnt at NUFC or Chelsea next season at some point. Roma he should have got more from Lukaku and Patricio is awful but other than that, he's worked miracles with Roma. I dont see how Mourinho is worse than a Klopp, Simeone or Allegri/Conte. Nicola Zalewski at 22 has just now almost on his own qualified Poland to the Euros - and that's a player, that has been built by Jose in Roma, so it's a myth that he doesn't bring young players in - if I remember correctly he was the one, who gave Varane his first game and qute a lot of minutes at Madrid. He wasn't spending that much at Roma and the player pull is still there - I don't think Dybala comes without Jose and I'd say in terms of general squad building he left them in not such a bad shape.

The Arsenal fan just straight up lied regarding Mourinho and the foundations he left in Roma. These are just a few examples of young players that Mourinho developed from the academy/ signed from other clubs. Amadou Diawara, Edoardo Bove, Nicola Zalewski, Zaniolo, Christian Volpato, Felix Afena-Gyan, and Mile Svilar. Mourinho absolutely used and developed young players at Roma while revitalising the entire club. Also won the conference league and De Rossi just slapped up De Zerbis Brighton using the squad that he built. He made them relevant in Italy again.

Only player out of those that Mourinho improved was Eduardo Bove. He did give chances and time to other players. I’m not a Mourinho fan but I just wanted to point out to people who don’t watch Serie A that he did buy/give young players an opportunity. Bove, Zalewski, Svilar are at the core of their squad and the rest who weren’t good enough were sold for profit. I don’t really understand what happened with Zaniolo tbh but it seems like it was the right move to let him go now. Roma are more of a threat now than they were before Jose.

Most of Newcastle's problems right now stem from having so many of their key players injured or suspended. They just did not have a deep enough squad to compete in four competitions and it cost them this season. The way forward is to keep adding squad depth and doing good business in each transfer window while bringing through academy players. I think Eddie is the man to do that. To be incredibly frustrated with man city and Chelsea for becoming big clubs through unregulated spending, and then when your club is bought, be incredibly frustrated that there are regulations to prevent that spending is crazily disingenuous. Newcastle have climbed from a yo-yo team to a team comparable to spurs and Chelsea (and arsenal prior to the last 2 years) in recent seasons. The money has elevated Newcastle tremendously and has put them in a position to make big sales and build a deeper squad for the next couple years. Modern football requires patience.

I'd love Mourinho back in the league, but for Newcastle I think it's best to stick with Howe

FUCK NO !!! I will always respect Hose for his manner in speaking of Sir Bobby. But I do not want him anywhere NEAR my Club. Not unless he buys a ticket.

you're in a minority with saying Isak you'd keep over Bruno, most Newcastle fans would keep Bruno G over Isak, obviously prefer to keep both but Isak is the one you sell, Bruno is the heart of the team and our key player

No to Jose for me, he was great at Chelsea but I feel we must look forward and keep Howe for the next season at least, let him have a season without all the injuries.

Why would Newcastle, who are apparently tight on finances, swap Howe for Mourinio for 4 or 5 times the money?

Sacking Howe would be a mistake give Howe some time, some transfers to get rid of the deadwood and I think he will have Newcastle challenging for top 4 consistently

Eddie Howe will most likely get another season and obtaining European football has to be a minimum target
A lot of money has been spent but you never know come the end of this season say we finish outside the top 10 he could be sacked
I do feel mourinho would appeal to the Saudi's but they'd have to back him significantly & it's not guaranteed success

Oh bring me a cup before I die! 53 years supporting (age 60) and still waiting! I referred to all the clubs that have won a cup during that time (Luton Swansea Oxford Wimbledon included) in the live debate 3 or so years ago hosted by George Caulkin and the Newcastle female MP words to the effect of I don’t know what it’s like to see my team win silverware; I want to know what it’s like please [ergo in favour of the Saudi takeover before footballing authorities have blocked our success to protect others and their own self-interest]. I’d Jose the man to do it? Who knows but regrettably we will nothing under Eddie! HWTL
