The best prem moment of all time. 3 of the closest contested title races of all time. Some of the most iconic prem players of all time. One of the all time great managers. They play sexy football. They play the highest level football we’ve ever seen. City should be 2nd on the list.
I think it really depends on how you look at football. I looked upon Chelsea and City's achievement more negatively because of how it was won. I don't hate the teams but there is like a marker. It make it even more impressive that Leicester have done it, and I sympathise with teams like spurs. I know a lot of people don't care but if you buy the best of everything with unlimited resources you are going to get good outcomes
The 100 point season sounds great but they did it in a season with no title contenders only the top 6 had a positive goal difference with teams in the -30 staying up comfortably. Only one of the 3 is looked upon as a great achievement because they won it on the last day the others what a 3 way title when they came second the season before and united didn’t show so they was the favourites between a broke Liverpool team and Chelsea and the other was by 1 point against again that same broke Liverpool squad that they out spent window after window
@@mrphish1318Just so you know UTD once won the league with 75 points and Liverpool got 76 points and 4th place in that centurion season. Then what do you mean by broke Liverpool squad? Yeah Pep outspend klopp. But then either you say that klopp can make good players out of less money or complain that he couldn't win because he had less money. Can't have it both ways. UTD won 13 times and in 1992-2013 they outspent everyone 11 times. That's the nature of football or any sport. Liverpool outspent spurs that's why they won that UCL final. I don't see spurs fans crying about Liverpool spending.
As a Liverpool fan, City do play sexy football, you can never take that away from them no matter how many FFP charges you put on the table. And the guys on the table don't seem to care about that at all, otherwise Chelsea would be 5th, because they play the most disgusting, ugly, bland, survivor football. Even Spurs have been more enjoyable to watch than Chelsea, I have never once smiled watching Chelsea for the last 20 years... Though I have to admit Arsenal also play very positive and fashionable football, sometimes even beautiful, on par with us (Klopp era) but neither us or Arsenal are even close to the level of Manchester City as painful as it is to admit. I get it Man UTD has to be n1, there is no discussion but you MUST be blind or stupid to say that there have been better teams out there than Manchester City, managed by an absolute footballing genius. You all are just mad because City was bought by a bunch of brown people while Roman and Glazers have invested even more in their clubs...

What people don't realise is Leicester are the 6th most successful club in the premier era winning a premier league an fa cup 2 league cups and a community shield.
Craig is the only one calling out the hypocrisy on Citeh, how can people even try and pretend Chelsea are big but in the same sentence try and make fun of Citeh?? Talking about fans, in the THIRD DIVISION, Citeh averaged 28k, which is more than half prem clubs average right now let alone championship clubs. Never forget also we have 2 league titles befote the takeover, equal to Spurs and more than Chelsea (supposed 'proper' clubs) and more FA cups than Chelsea, so i'm ridiculously confused how Chelsea have brainwashed everyone into imagining they were somehow bigger than us before their takeover.
You're right about all of this, the only exception i'd make is Chelsea really picked up from the ~'97 season and were already in Europe. They also finished 3rd, 4pts off the title in 99 etc. So they were becoming proper challenges regardless of the takeover that then really pushed them on to bigger things. City, although similar to Chelsea in Trophy haul pre-takeover, were more of a yo-yo team in this period so I think the before and after of the takeover was more blatant. I agree though that fundamentally both teams were similar in having 1-2 leagues, a couple cups etc, and not much difference in terms of trophies between them pre-takeovers.
city under pep have changed the stylistic tactical game as a whole and forced other teams to raise their overall performance levels. The game has become more interesting to watch and the premier league has become the most relevant league in the world. The bar has been raised.
Everton being “mediocre” whilst having hardly any money for the majority of the time they’ve spent in the league and still finishing in Europe plenty of times.
They are certainly not mediocre, and they are in my top 10. But they have had a ridiculous wage structure for years now, should be better than what they are. The clubs been mismanaged since they got money
1 title won against a team that they put spent for years by one point. 1 with 100 points which only the top 6 teams had a positive goal difference and 3/14 of those had a goal difference over -10 and the first one that no one argues against
I damn near lost my mind as a city fan when he said he wasn’t bored watching Barca’s dominate play….wtf. They passed in circles for decades before advancing. We don’t play like that. We progress up the field. No I’m sry, we care. I won’t debate the money thing cuz frankly I agree, it adds a bit of an asterisk but to say nobody cares? Damn.
It’s true tho no one cares about city mostly because of the money they already spoke about it in the video on how Chelsea still has people care despite also having money. But that Barca squad was something special if you can only see passing in circles for decades you shouldn’t have an option on how the game is played
Arguing for chelsea ahead of Man City is ridiculous considering chelsea were the original moneyball team and achieved nothing close to what Man City have over the past 14 years now (which is getting on for half of the entire length of the premier league btw)

Im a United fan, i really hope they dont do it, because it's beyond monumental. Let me put it this way, the achievement would be so big, it would probably mean that Pep surpasses Sir Alex as the GOAT Manager, and if KDB has a big part to play in it (which he probably will) he surpasses Thierry Henry as the GOAT of the PL. I seen a Podcast, where the host said he recently went to Spain, and got to talking to a group of people at a sports bar, they asked where hes from, he said England, one of the Spanish lads blurred out in broken English "premier League, Manchester City" so, City have been so dominant in the last 13 years that when you mention Premier League, foreign people think of City..just like they used to in the 2000s with Manchester United.

By far the best era of the Premier League was 93-04, so that's why it is the most memorable and what happened in those years is what I would consider the most when thinking about this list.
Blackburn Rovers title challengers/winners in the 90s. Decade in the premier league in the 2000s before the venkys. Several top 6 finishes, Europe pushes, league cup winners (beating spurs lol). Iconic players such as Pedersen, bentley, Friedel etc. Top 10 all time premier league no doubt about it.

The problem with City is that it could be anyone. I mean, if Sheikh Mansour decided to take over Newcastle, it’d be them we’re talking about. It could’ve been West Ham, Tottenham, etc., so although it’s great for City fans it’ll never be as respected as much as Liverpool, United, Arsenal (I’m not including Chelsea because they’re no better really). And by the way, if these 115 charges do have an impact then all of these trophies mean even less.
Spurs most iconic Premier League moment is bottling against Chelsea to hand Leicester the title. You can’t put them above Blackburn or Leicester. There’s no way 😂
I agree especially when it comes to the best players ever (Pele, Best, Platini, Beckenbauer, Cruyff, Charlton list goes on and on , these players desereve as much if not attention than the modern day era players
Spurs have never challenged for the title. Nobody has ever genuinely thought they could win the title regardless of position. Newcastle with the Keegan outburst sends them above in my opinion.
2015-2016 they were literally 1 goal away from winning it, they lost the title because of Hazard last minute equaliser, and they were chasing Leicester, the weakest team that has ever been on top of the league. That team literally didn't have a single decent name on the bench (maybe except for Okazaki) and they got away with a full season without injuries while Spurs and Arsenal were set back because of that reason, giving Leicester chance to pull ahead. And Arsenal had already bottled their position by last 2-3 weeks, Spurs were very unlucky that year. Although I do agree finishing 2nd behind prime Man City doesn't mean much...
@@brettervonkanada6102 nobody has ever seriously considered spurs as genuine title contenders even then. This is about Premier League though and villa have spent 3 seasons out of it since it began on 1992. I get history extends beyond the founding of the Premier League but this isn’t about that. It’s about a very specific period in time, one in which Aston Villa weren’t very good. Lol
the reason why people "dont care" about Man City winning is because we have become numb to it. Not because any other bs reason. Any of those fans would give away their clubs to get the finacial backing and signings Man City did and achieve half the things they have. Man City won a trebel (first one since 1999 for a Prem Team), they have the 100pt Season (Highest Point Total in a single Season in the prem), single season top scorer (Haaland), and 7 total premier league titles (maybe 8), have won 3 league titles in a row (might be 4 and break United's record) They are ridiculous and shameless to treat Man City this way and not giving anything to Chelsea, only bc they have 2 fans sitting at the table and no one to rightfully defend City. Shameless.

I think something Craig fails to appreciate is that not all title wins are created equally. It’s not purely a numbers game. This is why Leicester’s win is so monumental. He talks about contribution to the league, Leicester’s story in one year arguably impacted casual fans around the world more than anything Spurs have ever done. Like it or not, there’s an element of City’s dominance that will always be considered “less than” because of the story attached to it. That will temper the edge of their numbers, probably for all time. We are football fans, it’s not just about the numbers. It means more than that, we remember more than that. Craig is spot on, city are above most top 6 especially arsenal and especially Chelsea, they’re treble winners, 3 prem titles in a row, they’re with united the two Manchester clubs are the best in England!!!
they are not with United, they are below, but yeah, above the others now in titless alone, not even close to united though.
Also relegated twice 🤣🤣
20 titles between the Manchester Clubs…league has been around 32 years. It’s Manchester’s league with London being the other area…that’s why I’d agree with Leicester being here because that was a madness
When everyone said they were bored watching Pep’s Man City, but they weren’t bored watching Pep’s Barca that’s because they support teams that have to play against them in the league. Arsenal fan here. The city disrespect from the Arsenal lad and Chelsea boys is ridiculous. City have 7 titles. Treble winners. Going for 4 titles in a row. 100 point season.
Klopp's net spend is 356mn pounds and Pep's is 492mn.

Insanity from the table. Craig is right
Craig is the only one calling out the hypocrisy on Citeh, how can people even try and pretend Chelsea are big but in the same sentence try and make fun of Citeh??
