No matter what their style was, it's about how well they played from the LW/RW or LM/RM position. Top 10 Premier League wingers, John Barnes is not a top 10 Premier League winger. By the time the Premier League came around, Barnes was transitioning into CM.
Salah is clearly the best winger in the premier league of all time, the maths do not lie. With C Ronaldo closely tucked up behind him and im putting Salah ahead because hes been in the premier league for 7 years and has been just freakishly consistent in scoring goals and assisting season to season, his numbers are absolutely stagerring for a winger.
if going by numbers maybe but going by talent in my opinion no chance. Ronaldo lituarly carried united to a champions league title and premier league titles, they use to call it the ronaldo show also ronaldo has smashed so many records in the prem. Id rather than Ronaldo or Freddie Ljunberg on my right personally over salah. Ronaldo as a prem all time great he wasnt in the league long but id say it depends what you class as a good winger, is it someone who creates more chances than score or is it someone who scores more than they create? As becham was a fantastic right sided midfielder winger what ever didnt score as much but created more than salah probably has
@@scottishjp5082 There is no maybe when it comes to numbers the maths never lie. Pires in the 2001/02 season was as good as it gets. Amazing season even accounting for his injury near the end.
Ronaldo aswel, people like Rory say he didn’t do it long enough even tho he was 6 years in the league. Won 3 prem as the best player. Win every individual award in England possible. Etc…
His Madrid prime was simply so good that people forget how good United Ronaldo was. If things had gone different he would have won 3 bdors in the prem and 3ucls.

Giggs with 13 PLs has to be in a top 3. 24 years as a player, 23 of them as a starter for the dominating club. Incredible consistency. Just by sheer numbers he deserves a top 3.

No matter what their style was, it's about how well they played from the LW/RW or LM/RM position. Some players were playmakers from the wing like Beckham, some were inside forwards like Salah but their position was winger so they all count. Mine is:
