How? Mainoo is a youngster and come in and sured up the United midfield and made himself a starter. Whereas Endo is already an established player.

Rodri has more goals and assists this season than Rice. 7 and 10 in all competitions to Rice 6 and 7. Both on 6 and 6 in the EPL specifically. Rodri has also played 200 fewer minutes.
And why not talk about Mac Allister’s stats? He’s on 4 goals 6 assists in over 850 minutes fewer than Rice. He was injured throughout December which is when Endo took over and he didn’t come back until Endo left for the Asia Cup. He has a g/a per 240 minutes to Rice’s per 250 minutes…

Rodri is 27 and Rice is 25... at 25 Rodri was the main man at city where he scored 2 clutch goals against Arsenal and the 2nd goal for that Villa comeback. He has like 7 goals in the prem that season and all were important ones and they won the league by a single point.

As Arsenal fans we need to stop being so precious about our players. I'm fine with Rice being second to Rodri because it's his first season and we all see what's happening.
Rodri has had the best possible environment around him to establish himself as number one. The capabilities of his club, the players around him, and his manager are in a different stratosphere to what Rice has had until now. Give Rice two years and this won't even be a debate, as he develops further at the very elite stage.
