I'm Faren. I big chopped in April 2013. I have medium to low porosity hair, that is super dense at the crown. My haircare regimen includes washing my hair at least once a week, regular treatments (protein, olaplex and bond salve) and trims every 3 months on blown out hair. I am not a hair care professional, and I'm honestly still learning my hair.

im under the hair dryer in the middle of a "you"-inspired wash day. hopefully i can record and complete it all before bed.
fred really enjoyed this wash day in the shower and i like the volume but I've seen him with more body and movement...but, to say you didn't use a leave-in and maybe was a bit heavy-handed, the results looked good for a quick one-day/same-day style. tfs

Your hair did look amazing when it was still wet. I was expecting more definition when it dried.
Me tooooooooo!!! I’m gonna try it as a base gel because I did like how it looked wet, so maybe if I put Ecoslay on top it’ll come out great

I agree with you, some products do way better
I saw this on sale last month on ulta, but I hesitated because I saw alcohol as one of the ingredients so I’m not surprised you found it drying 😢
And this is why I’m starting to look at ingredients more closely!
Can you try it on damp hair ?
I can but….i doubt the “curl elongation” will happen, especially on my hair
