Thanks for sharing your process. ❤ Im not sure if you are staying away from heat. I think if you would have flat ironed your hair after take down you would have liked your end result a little better. You would be able to wrap your hair too.

hi faren 🤗 your braidout lasted so long. the volume and definition looked good on day 3 before you refreshed it. that baomint leave-in is the goat. i completely understand about not wanting to take your braids down ... but the definition tho - yes! tfs

Hey Faren. I purchased the PATTERN Curling Iron and two bottles of their fantastic shampoo, during their sale. Sephora’s shipping packaging is horrible. My shampoo bottles leaked in the box. However, their customer service is great. They already shipped out my replacement bottles. I stocked up big time on my Adwoa products. They are 50% off, something you never see with Adwoa. I just stocked up on my PATTERN products, but through their website. I love using my Rewards Points. They’re super generous with their points. As for makeup brushes, I HIGHLY recommend BK Beauty’s brushes, as well as Scott Barnes’ makeup brushes. Their brushes are top notch, Faren. They don’t shed, they’re super soft and luxurious feeling and they clean so well. They stay looking and feeling brand new. Right now BK Beauty is having a 30% off sale.

The redken acidic bonding curls shampoo is bomb for color treated hair and maintains the curls. I think it would be a good option for you. It has replaced olaplex #4 for me

Love your hair color, also I like to use the Olapex 4C. I do the same routine as you do with both shampoos. Some of my curls have been loose but I have been using products for restorative and damage hair and use the whole Olapex line once a month. Thanks for sharing ❤

hi faren 🤗 fred reverted beautifully. i do my hot oil treatments for a couple hours as well. overnight always ends up with oil on my pillow, no matter how much/tight i wrap/cover my hair. its time for a wash day - i may start it with a hot oil treatment. tfs

Hey Faren. The salon did a great job on your hair. As for the Baomint Shampoo, I find it to have a heavy duty clarifying effect. There’s nothing moisturizing about it. However, I LOVE their Blue Tansy Clarifying Shampoo. It’s not stripping, one bit. I actually prefer their Blue Tansy line. Btw, they discontinued the Blue Tansy Conditioner, not the deep conditioner, though. As for Pattern, I purchase their products in the jumbo size. Right now Sephora is having a 30% off sale on Pattern products. I bought two jumbo shampoo bottles and their new curling iron. No need to re-up on the Intensive Conditioner, right now. I have a quick question for you. I noticed a “The Doux” product in your shower. Which product is that? I used their Fresh Rinse Conditioner and it’s so freaking great. It’s a definite repurchase.
