Great Video and covers all the questions I had. Thanks for the info my man!
Thanks - so useful! I'm getting the FX30 for my online webinars - for 1 to 2 hour sessions - therefore I must have the cooling ability and the 2nd card slot. The things I give up from the ZV-E1 are not critical. Having two SD/cf slots is critical for pro work. Rugged case and time-lock puts it over the top. While I will never be a commercial photo guy - I always take my video cam on the road to record my talks. Then I take pictures. So the smaller size / lenses is also a plus, albeit a smaller point. Overall, thanks for a SUPERB COMPARISON VIDEO!
I also felt this way ❤
Great video as always! Thanks for your work!
Thanks for the great comparison video. Shooting with the zv-e10 and saving up for the fx30 now for sure. Shoot for long times in the summer heat so not overheating is a huge deal and I can use the same lenses which is awesome.
@Jason , could you see if using an APS-C lens on the ZV-E1 applies in camera correction for distortion? One thing I see most people not testing is using the smallest vlogging lenses like the Sony E11mm F1.8 or E15mm F1.4 - even though all of the crops will take out the black bars, if the Camera does not apply a correction - barrel distortion on these small APS-C lens make them almost unuseable. I found that my A7IV and A7R5 with these APS-C lenses distort noticeably if APS-C mode is not turned on - and as far as I can tell, you can not turn on APS-C mode for 4K recording on the ZV-E1. Takeaway: You now have a small light camera (ZV-E1) you can not really use small light lenses on (APS-C lenses). You may as well get an FX3, A7S3 or A7IV and use a small APS-C lens and get the same total weight for vlogging?
This is by far the best comparative video between the 2 models and have answered all my questions! For me I'll be choosing the FX30 as I want to get into more professional videography to compliment my photography side hustle. I already own 2 a7iv and several full frame lenses, so sticking a 20mm 1.8G would look great on the FX30.
After watching your Moments short film, it's all about the story (also lighting plays a great deal). Couldn't tell which body/lens you used just by watching the short film. So with the extra money I saved by going with the FX30, i'll use it with some lighting, maybe an Amaran or the crazy small Zhiyun!
I am in awe of the FX30. I love what you can get out of it
i dont think a lot of people actually want the zv-e1
@@BarefootMediaTVI don't know - if you already have an A7SIII it might make sense as your lenses would already be full frame. However the overheating issue seems to be a major issue. Already copping negative reviews as unusable.
@@BarefootMediaTV I'm team zv-e1. I'm looking for my first camera to start a solo youtube channel, and after 100's of hours of researching, I'm about to buy the zv-e1. My work space has black walls, so I want the best low light. Starting on full frame means I can keep lenses when I upgrade to something like the fx-3 later.
@@mondotv4216 external fan for $20 that is easily replaceble when it wears out is actually a bonus feature. Good luck when the fx-30 fan gets hair and dirt in it. BZZZzzzzZZZZzzzzzZZZ
Very good points. A detailed video outlining the pros and cons of each camera. Prefer the FX30 for my line of work. Would love to get the ZVE1 maybe the second generation though. Overheating is a deal breaker. My Sony A33 was overheating couldn't film anything. I know is a very old camera but I had a bad experience with overheating. Never again. Thank you again for putting together this informative video.
thank you. Yes hopefully they can do something about the overheating
same boat. I was really excited about the zv-e1 but the overheating is preventing me from buying it. For that price, feels like a slap in the face to design it without a fan and airflow, especially since it's still not waterproof.
most streamers stream for over an hour at a time so idk what they were thinking with ignoring the overheating
This was jam packed wiith great info and it was super well presented and engaging. I'd like to have had a bit more of a comparison on the IBIS between the two, but other than that, the overheatiing makes the FX30 the obvious choice for me. I'll be shooting in-car footage with the camera mounted on the windscreen inside the car and the two most important features for me are long recording time without overheating and IBIS. The rolling shutter could be a bummer on the FX30 for my particular application as well. I'll almost certainly use the gyro data to stabilize in post -- the FX30 does have gyro data, right? I guess that might mitigate the rolling shutter a bit with the crop that the software produces when running the stabilization process.
Thank you for this!!!! Been comparing the a7cii vs fx30 I’m upgrading from a a6400!! But more of a videographer than a photographer…wanna really get more involved with shooting more weeding/real estate/commercials and music videos. so the FX 30 seems like the right choice for me. Great review thank you.
I must say your videos are the clearest video. The details man...What camera do u use to film your RUclips videos?
Great comparison video, Jason! I really like the features of the ZVE 1, but I don't need it. I have the FX30 and I love using it. I'm so glad that I bought it. Sure it doesn't do well in low light, but it does have this weird grain effect in low light that makes it appear film-like. In low light it's grainy and I haven't seen any noise. I'm old school and I really like that grain effect. The ZVE 1 seems like a good choice if you buy into 3rd party lenses such as Sigma. But if I want to do talking head shots to review products, that overheating might be a problem. I guess the question is, how are you going to use your camera. Maybe the best thing to do is rent the camera you are interested in and see if it fits your needs. Thank you, Jason! Always a pleasure to watch your videos, they are amazing!
thanks for watching
it seems whenever I'm looking for a potential.upgrade to my camera gear after fluttering around a bit I invariably always end up at one of your reviews, which i think must be the gold standard as I usually find it sorted everything out for me and now I know exactly what I should get. Thanks again for saving me so much time from otherwise floundering and flailing out in the wilderness!
Thank for watching them
This is exactly the information I was looking for.
The "what I'm using it for" is what matters to me.
I have a question: The option [Shooting] - [Shutter/Silent] - [Anti-flicker Set.] in the FX30 Is super helpful with something like Philips hue lights. It does not exist in the FX3 (in video mode). I'm trying to figure out if that is due to a technical limitation of the sensor. If the rest of the camera is basically the same that would make sense to me. So what I'm interested in is this: Does the A7SIII or the ZV-E1 have that feature specifically in video / electronic shutter mode?
Apart from that one feature I think you highlighted every difference between those cameras. Great video. :)
So if I had the ZV-E1.., but wanted to use S35 Laowa Nanomorph lenses.. in 4k.., could I just use clear image zoom to escape any vignetting? You said for native S35 mode on it, it will only do 4k right?
Great detailed comparison!
Your videos are always very informative.
I wonder how much weather sealed is the FX30/3 at the fan openings on the side and bottom.
Won’t it risk getting moisture or dust/sand into the camera internals?
-or is the fan assembly separated without actual holes inside it towards the camera internals?
following
Thanks from Japan! This is great video!
Great video Jason, made me subscribe to your channel!!! I've been using Sony APSC since my Nex 6 camera, when mirrorless were just beginning to shake the world of video/photography. I still use a A6300 mostly for video works and I really think the 4k quality is still good. Of course you need a gimbal without a stabilized sensor. I fell in love with the FX30 and I was about to order it mostly because I have a pretty good APSC lens lineup, the Sigma's 16mm, 30mm, Sony 50mm (1.8) plus a lot of vintage lenses (with an adaptor of course) so the FX30 would be a good upgrade right away without having to buy new lenses. But the EV-1 image quality, new features, low light performances look amazing. On the other side, overheating, difference in price, buying full frame lenses from scratch means a difference in the kind of investment that would be doubled in the EV-1's. So if I first looked at the FX-30 over the FX3 for the same reasons (price, buying new lenses) I think the same will be choosing between the FX30 and the EV-1... thinking out loud about my doubts, maybe some of you can help me making a decision, or stick with my old a6300! 😅
I honestly would go for the FX30 in your situation if you NEED to upgrade. Certainly isn't a need but you will notice a fair difference between a6300 and FX30
Thanks for point out the differences! I had to cancel my preorder..Not sure if the ZV-E1 will fit my work.. I guess I just like the sensor lol, but fx30 is definitely a win for my work flow.
Glad it helped. Always good to think about your work flow and what would suit best
thanks man, you help a lot! gonna add fx30 into my cart now haha
Hello there.. I need a camera to shot and video record for products,,, Portret, or any interview generally inside.. Which of this camera can I buy? Your opinion for sure.. thnx in advance
real nice review!
Incredibly thorough comparison!
thank you!
I went with the ZV-E1 becuse i live in sweden and it is dark here and using it for outdoor hiking weight is a massive factor.
low light performance could be a massive deal
Hey, another swede!!!
I got the FX30 because of the crappy weather 😂
@@ThomasFransson That is a good point. :)
@@ThomasFransson Nice! I actually returned it and got a FX3 overheating to much for me.
Cold enough to not have heating issues
Hi Jason, great review! My only stickint point with the zve1 is the lack of true weather sealing. Do you thunk that if i just put a piece of duct tape over that top mic grate that it would be good? Or are there other points of ingress on the zve1? Thanks!
That's what I was thinking
I just got the ZV-E1 and it was the right choice for my style of Content Creation. Having exceptional video quality while also having the ability to take better quality photos than most phones, it was a no brainer for me.
Thank you so much for teaching us. I want to shoot kids content outdoor where they gonna move around a lot and indoor where they not gonna move as much. What lens would you suggest? And which audio setup?
Bought the zv-e1, came today.. I guess I thought 4k 120 was already a thing. Might be returning it because I NEED 4k 120 for what we shoot. Any word on when that update is coming? It will determine if I return this thing now or not.
What has me on the fence is just the low light performance factor, would you be able to compare the two or do a video of the FX30 alone showing how it handles in low light environments?
I have work more at night, like DJ aftermovies and the like, and these places are always in low light.
Would the fx30 still be able to maintain function in 100 or 37celcius degree heat?
I'd love to see a video demonstrating how APS-C lenses look like on the ZV-E1. Does it look bad if cropped in post? Does it help using the internal crop of the dynamic active stabilization? I'm currently looking to upgrade my Sony a7iii to either the FX30 or the ZV-E1. In my use case, this would be my C Cam, so I'm not looking to spend a crazy amount. I love the price of the FX30, but I love the sensor of the E1, Another concern is overheating but I may be able to live with it. Anyway, thanks for doing all of these comparison videos!
aps-c lenses will look exactly the same as they would on and aps-c camera. just have to think about that vignetting and cropping in post which means you lose resolution.
@@JasonMorrisphotocinema best comparison so far. I'd add to this question if in APS-C mode the crop-heavy AI features are disabled or does Sony make them work in the smaller sensor area?
Hey Jason I’ve noticed that literally nobody talks about the fx3/30 fan noise. I’ve been considering them but i often film in recording sumtudios while the musicians are playing with studio condenser mics, i tend to be very close to those mics sometimes and was wondering whether that fan would be a problem for me.
No it won't be a problem. The fan is actually very quiet and will not disrupt the audio
i just got my zv-e1 today. I took it to a wedding as a 2nd camera and it overheated while i was setting up the settings. I know it can get hot but thought that was absurd. did i get a dud?
So I personally do occasional video so I’ve been rocking the mighty A7iv.
I want to start doing some vlogging and short family videos so I just picked up a ZV- E1 since I already have full frame lenses but none wide enough for apsc vlog. I was debating on returning and exchanging for fx30 but your video pretty much secured my choice of the Zve1🎉
I use my a7iv for my podcast and recorded an hour 20min episode in my home and no over heating issues.
Doubt I’ll have them on the Zve1 😎
Thanks Jason 🙏🏼
What lens would you suggest for vlogging on Both cameras?? I think the ZV-E1 is the best fit for me. Nice of you to help out Itz Sky. He shouted out the famous Jason Morris. Great video and thanks for this?
Thanks steve. vlogging would be the new 16-35mm PZ lens works very well with the ZV-E1
Very good comparaison! I'll get the FX30. 😎
thanks. good choice
Many thanks for another great video! 😊 Does the ZV-E1 overheat while filming in 1080p as well?
Most likely not. 1080 is much less taxing on the sensor, even at 120 fps
Nah
Which one do you guys think is better for creating reels?
did you have a video about how you setup your studio? i like how this video looks like 🥰
I have an older video about it, yes
@@JasonMorrisphotocinema thanks, will check it now!
Does the ZV-E1 work with Atomos Ninja V? You were quite for ZV-E1, when you confirmed prores RAW for FX30.
Thanks, Jason!
No RAW for ZV-E1 bus can record prores HQ if needed
Is there a c1,c2,c3 option for different fps?
Which one would you recommended for Instagram Reels? And What lense?
is it possible that you could also do a comparison of the 1080p outputs of the latest ones?
Maybe I will do this in a future video
hey Jason j'ai acheté le FX 30 de 6 mois c'est vraiment une super caméra très bonnes tes vidéos
Does the evz1 have a 30 min recording limit
Okay, Jason after Japan--I'm trusting you to be the one who gives us the first review on the new Sony a7000 apsc camera & the Sony a7sIv! Now, those are the cameras we care about, let's see if they live up to our expectations! 😎😎
interesting. I haven't heard of any other cameras this year as yet
the battery door fx30 not support for dummy battery cz don't have door access. but you can still on using with battery door open. Strange for streaming but it works.
I saw some back to back footage and the ZV-E1 looked a little more softer/pleasing to my eye, i guess that's the 12mp sensor and extra bokeh. You can buy a fan for it aswell but... I'm Still confused 😢😅
*Just did My First Vlog on My FX30 and I have to say It looks AMAZING, shooting at 4/60 & taking Photo's was Nice. I haven't Edit the Photos YET, But once I get a better handle on the FX30 it'll be a BEAST for me as it's My Be all to end all Camera. I can utilize my Sigma 16mm with this and looks AMAZING. I might trade in my 11mm for a Zoom Lens*
The photos are surprisingly amazing
upgrading to the zv-e1 from the A6400! I'm so looking forward to it. :D
MASSIVE upgrade. You will notice a clear difference
@@JasonMorrisphotocinema I do shoot cars every now and then.. you think the zv-e1 not having a mechanical shutter would be a problem? Most of the time I take stills, sometimes I do rolling shots.
Otherwhise I can just make a video and than in davinci resolve export as still image for moving objects 😂
The Tamron 10-20 2.8 apc lens is really damn good also and affordable
Yea still getting the FX3 but the FX30 does what I need it to do and withmy price range.
FX3 really is a beast
good work Jason
thank you
Tbh I think that unless you’re using the camera for very casual work, most personal RUclips projects, TikToks and reels, that sort of thing, then there is no choice. The FX30 is the better camera in almost every way, people get so caught up in “the full frame” thinking that will make the videos look the best.
The reality is APSC/ Super35 is extremely capable an is actually a major cinema standard, you get enough low light performance, you get enough Bokeh, you get enough resolution. With the FX30 you have a far more powerful camera with no overheating issues, more robust recording options, a better camera body and so on. It’s just a better camera in every way.
The ZV-E1 is only good if you’re a real casual shooter and even then id urge someone to get the FX30, even if you plan on taking some photos on it. They both feature no shutter, only the FX30 has 26mps.
super35 is very very capable and will still be used for many many years to come. great comment my friend
i’ve been stuck on the ZV E1 and FX30
i want to shoot short form content but also cinematic shorts. I’m leaning towards the ZV E1 but what do you guys think?
Me too
@@silver125 i got the zv e1. it’s amazing !!!
I just picked up my first camera which was the FX30 in late December. Absolutely LOVE IT!!! I can already see what's going to happen to my bank account in the future, with what I assuming is leading towards a addiction 😂🤦🤷
Hope you enjoy it! great choice for a first or second cam for sure
@@JasonMorrisphotocinema so far so good. I just attempted my first wedding as a favor for a friend, and I was pretty pleased with the outcome.
I think I want the Zv e1 just for run and gun artsy footage I can just keep in my pocket for things like music videos and trippy content for RUclips. Eventually I wanna spend real money and get a fx3 or even fx6 if I can for real pro videography or filmmaking.
I saw a “hack” for the fx30 where if you change it to continues focus and do focus hold you can spam the shutter button and take a whole bunch of pictures but idk if it actually works
Thank You!
thanks
it was a no-brainer for me. I went with the FX30. I am a professional videographer in Las Vegas and have shot run-and-gun at pools here on town in hot days. There's just no way I could trust the ZV-E1 to hold up. Plus I added the sigma 18-50m F2.8, the sigma 30mm F1.4 and the sigma F16 F1.4 all for under $1000.
Does fx30 has soft skin effect ? Please let me know
For a drone mounted camera, ZV-E1? I'm not going to be filming more than 30 minutes at a time anyway, low light gives great cityscape-at-night shots, air going to be rushing past it all the time so it'll stay pretty cool, and lighter weight is always best, means less expensive gimbal, cheaper drone?
I’m renting the FX-30 for a wedding this weekend to see if I like it. I’m shooting with A7iv’s right now. The biggest issue with the super 35 is low light performance, do you agree?
Almost nobody is talking about this. The low light on the FX-30 is terrible in low light. I returned the camera due to this. The a74 is way better in this regard. I pre ordered the ZVE1
I have talked about low light in almost all my FX30 videos. It is not great with 120fps because it crops in on the sensor. 4k30 &60 should be great when exposed correctly
I want to upgrade from my Sony a6600 and I was convinced on the Sony zve1 but dam those FF lens are pricy and I already have 2-3 solid apsc lens and I think imma go with the fx30 for now and eventually go FF
i was picking between the FX3 or the Canon C70 as my pro video camera and i have to say im glad the FX30 came out because i just love the idea of shooting on a super 35 over a full frame, i love full frame but thats only for when i do photo shoots.
glad i was able to save up and finish my deposit payment today for my FX30 and cant wait for it to arrive.
i dont know when my camera store will have it delivered but i hope it happens soon, there’s isnt enough videos about the FX30 on youtube HAHA
I hopefully have enough FX30 videos for you to binge on haha. I have another dropping in a week
@@JasonMorrisphotocinema I actually have a few videos saved so I can rewatch them when mine comes in haha.
I love my zv-e1, best purchase I made all year for my other tech channel. Not a single issue, breathtaking 4K video (and yeah, 1080p looks amazing as well), and the autofocus is out of this world. Coming from a Canaon M50, it's been a huge upgrade.
I can back this 100% just made the exact same switch last month…

yes I always use my LUT for my talking head for speed
@@JasonMorrisphotocinema which one did you use here? I've got your first one and been eyeing the others 👀
I have the FX30 and I am very happy with it. However, the image stabilization of the ZV-E1 is a really cool feature. Do you think they will ever include the dynamic stabilization in a firmware update for the FX30?
I don't think so. While it is a brilliant feature I think they're doing it to cater towards vloggers who want super stable vlogging shots
Stab you can do in post....so its really a nice feature If you want direct from câmera material....Thats why its a great câmera for vloggers, its made for people that dont go deep into postproduction. Even cool stuffs like smart Focus.....you really dont want that in a more filmmaking enviroment
True, but the stabilization in post crops the image, thus dropping the quality of the footage. Hopefully they will introduce the recent features of ZV-E1 in the next cinema line camera
@@stefanofalletta8874 Stabilization in general crops the image (both in camera and in post) - the final result outputs whatever resolution the camera was set at/ timeline. This applies to in-camera and in post. Cropping either way = using less resolution of the sensor.
Clear image zoom is the only option of Sony that allows for “intelligent” cropping/ upscaling.
@@HAlariousInc interesting, thanks for sharing this! :D
Does it overheat after streaming for around 3 hours in 1080p? 🐧
wow I haven't tested but 1080p is much better as it generates far less heat
This camera is not made for long filming it will overheat in any mode
@@castielvargastv7931 where do you hear that? I have the camera
ZVE-1 Is suited for pro shooter, i just want the smallest camera to fit in a tiny bag, i can use the ZVE1 to its fullest potentiel overheating aint an issue for those who arents shooting shows. Incredible tiny camera i need it in my hands, this is was i expected from blackmagic not those monstrous ginormous brick of a "pocket" camera.
I just don't know anything about sony lenses i'll stick to the basics one prime and 24 to 70 the fastest. Any recommendation? Thanks!
For me definitely the ZVE1 🎥 fits better to my Fx6 and for holidays a great small cam with outstanding quality 😅
yes, can be a decent pair
For me, the main deal breaker is the Weather sealing. I shoot primarily outside, and I need good weather sealing. Unfortnaly as I can see from all reviews out there, ZV-E1 doesn't have a good weather sealing.
weather sealing is massive here
Why does micro-hdmi still exist? Especially on cameras.
They could've put two usb-c if they wanna save space. And use "HDMI Alt Mode for USB Type-C Connector"

Hey a video comparing apples to sandwiches is perfect when you're trying to figure out if you like apples or sandwiches
nailed it haha
I actually think the external fan is a feature of the e1. Fans can get noisy from dirt, hair, grease, etc. On the e1, you can just buy a new external fan when the time comes.
All is great, but I'm still waiting for Sony A1 in FX3 body with the new AI Autofocus chip and the A7RV screen.
That would be amazing and we could see this within a year or two i think
The fx30 also has multi auto focus for two people you have to select it
great feature
I live in a tropical island. The ZVE1 will overheat in 2 minutes. So i'll go for the fx30.
If you were to buy a camera today for documentary/ vlog content, what camera would you choose, fx3, ev-1, canon 6 mark ii, or any other suggestion? I also take pictures occasionally great content
FX3. No competition here
my main criticism of the ZV-E1 is that vloggers aren't usually driven to use the biggest sensor and get the most dynamic range out of their image, so why would they want to spend double the price of the ZV-E10 for a camera that overheats more, besides from the autofocus and the stabilisation. there's nothing in my eyes that is wildly more attractive than its APS-C vlogging counterpart, especially at that pricepoint
Doesn't the fan hamper the fx30 weather seal
it doesn't. The fan is actually external on the body even though it looks inside. It isn't as reliable as the A1 & A7RV though when it comes to soaking it in water
Maybe I'm a snob but when I watch videos on youtube now, I notice when someone is using an a7siii and above vs s5ii, fx30. That extra dynamic range and overall image matters to me lol. That being said, if I was running a business that does wedding videography and things of that nature, the ZV-E1 would probably be too risky for me unless you already have other cameras rolling.
I definitely would not rely on the ZV-E1 for pro work
@@JasonMorrisphotocinema this the comment I was looking for thank you!
how did you get that juicy white zv e1 ?
loan from Sony until my unit arrives
@@JasonMorrisphotocinema deam why don’t they sell it white, they are so cool
@@carlozamboni6511 oh they do sell it white. Sorry I didn’t know what you meant.
@@JasonMorrisphotocinema oh yeah you are right, deam i always dreamed about an A7S3 white
Great video! One tiny gripe, I'd have appreciated if you said the actual names instead of "this one" - my eyes often wander while watching.
my bad! next time my friend. Thanks for the feedback
@@JasonMorrisphotocinema all good! Love your work. 🙌
I was upset because the zv e1 was released and I just got the fx30 but now I don’t have buyers remorse 😊
the FX30 is a brilliant camera
im team Sony ZV-E1!!! thanks for the break down
The ai capabilities made the zv-e1 worth the 400
certainly a great camera with all the features
my freind the price of the zv-e10 is only 800$ how did you say it is 2100?
because you're thinking about the wrong camera. ZV-E1 is different to the ZV-E10
@@JasonMorrisphotocinema
sorry bro I did not know cuz always sony's cameras names are ..💩
I love my FX30, and saw the ZVE1, and thought 'nope' I don't need the newest.... I love the price point of the FX30 and love love love the price of Lenses.
Great points in this video mate.
definitely FX30 is great value
Totally! I am in the same boat. Love my FX30.
Image quality wise? Zv-e1
in my opinion I do prefer ZV-E1 sensor
Great work Jason, I’m in TV broadcast / news & sports, the FX30 was the one for me, I own canon 5D4 so have the stills covered, have the PMWF5 / PMW500 and PxwX70.
Which would you! pick ?
It still have to be seen when and if the overheating toy gets 4k120. Right now it has not, the fx30 has.
yes the fan does win here
I’m thinking of trading my A7C for ev-E1. I already have A7Iv and Fx30. I can’t trust iv because it overheats fast. But fx 30 not full frame. A7C not 10 but.
I would get the ZV-E1 in your case since you have those 3 cameras already. 3 different sensors will give you so much versatility
@@JasonMorrisphotocinema I really like all the new features in Ev-1 plus that it’s 10bit unlike 8 with C. Also low light beast which I shoot lots in with clubs and events. Though I’ll have to accept 12mp for stills and electronic shutter which is fine to get all those upgrades
@@JasonMorrisphotocinema I really like that auto framing too since I shoot with models and trying to keep them center
Physically is a crap shoot. And that crazy steady shot active stabilizer is way better then trying to do it post. One less step in software honestly makes up for higher costs this camera has
The Fx 30 is a cinematographer camera for film makers The z camera is fir vlogging. What you do determines what you need
You can Flim make on the ZV-E1
@@Toyota4Lifeby waiting to cool down after overheats in 15 minutes?
FX 30 looks to be a great camera. Both seem amazing. I am a documentary guy so I’ll have to go with the “Netflix approved” FX30
I don't think fx30 is netflix approved
Fx 3 is what you say
It only has one card and that makes me nervous. Having experienced card corruption in the past, I know what it feels like working with a camera with one card slot and losing all my work. Your heart sinks down into your stomach. Give me two card slots, please. That's why I have the FX30 and the FX3.
yeah for sure. Make or break for a lot of professionals
My thing is this, most vloggers or content creators won’t have the capital to buy the e1 and lenes while the zve10 covers that completely at a third of the price. As you said the fx30 is affecting the fx3 I think the e1 is stepping on the a7 shoes so I’m not sure what the e1 is actually for? Wealthy content creators who can splash minimum 3 to 4k on a camera??
there seems to be a lot of these people somehow haha
@@JasonMorrisphotocinema true and one of my businesses is a digital influencer agency but still they rely on basic functions on cameras so to me it still seems very niche. I bought the zve10 after watching one of your videos after selling Nikon f5 and many lenses and a sony a7ii
Eh... I'm a skilled photographer, I own a a7III. I want a camera for my wife's dance school that can be used by her and employees (production newbies) for social media but also to shoot recitals and provide rehearsal playback.
Conclusion, NEITHER option is good...
