I really loved Iron Maiden back when I was 17 and started playing guitar because of them mostly. I stopped playing in my 20s and only recently in my early 30s started to really go at it again and cleaned up my whole technique and now I'm sitting here realizing I can play these riffs without any issues by practicing them a little.
Exactly the same, I mostly do Vocals and rythm only in High School, cannot do the more complicated Guitar piece. Now I'm with 4 kids and finally buying my first electric guitar, gonna re-learn all the guitar pieces correctly. 🤭 My first Iron Maiden song was Be Quick or Be Dead, unfortunately not listed as one the greats. 🤣
I love all these songs but none of em would make my personal top 5 1. Empire of the clouds 2. Rime of the ancient mariner 3. Fear of the dark 4. When the wild wind blows 5. Blood brothers
Love this channel. Don't have to deal with dudes promoting products because they got it sent to them for free, and you're not just telling people stuff for followers. You've helped me a lot the last year!
Tough question. If I really had to choose, then Phantom of the Opera, Trooper and Iron Maiden would be my favs right now. But Hallowed Be Thy Name is also great.
Fear of the Dark's intro isn't too difficult or fast and was my first attempt at Iron Maiden back when I started playing guitar. I think i will do a beginner video for that.
By the way, there's a Fear of the Dark video on my channel now. Might be a good starting point to get into playing Iron Maiden (except the second solo of course, it's absurdly challenging).
By the way even if this was sped up (which I dont believe it is), who the fuck should care. He's not showing off skills. He's tabbed the fucking things for us to learn. Nice one dude 👍🏻🤘🏻
Good job, would love a part two with maybe some less known riffs, some album only tracks and some from the blaze era like maybe judgement of heaven, two worlds collide and lightning strikes twice.
I think this looks sped up because I'm using downstrokes only to play Number of the Beast and Minutes to Midnight, for example. I did that because it sounds like they recorded it that way on the records. It's kinda fast, though not as fast as James Hetflied/Metallica downpicking standards. So I'm sure lots of people could do that with a bit of practice, nothing unusual here. Cheers!
If you look at his left hand, you can see his shutterspeed is weird (smth like 15 fps) giving it stop motion vibes, this speed for downstrokes isnt too hard to get so I'd doubt he'd do this on purpose
The transition from Phantom of the Opera to The Trooper was so clean…

Nice. Keep it up!
I'm in exactly the same boat! Feels good to get back into it!
but why?
Exactly the same, I mostly do Vocals and rythm only in High School, cannot do the more complicated Guitar piece.

Thanks for the kind words!
The riff from Wasted Years was the first thing from Maiden I learned how to play, it's really easy to pick up!
I love listening to this.. greetings one soul from Indonesia
4:57 (ignore, just trying to nail this part)
I love this video the Fear of The Dark intro is so beautiful
If you want to see it in an even more beautiful state, you should see the live version from Chile. Take about goosebumps and one hell of a crowd!
Great riffs well presented.
Hallowed be thy name was always my favorite to play
~too good to stop now~ best part of the vid
Nice- GREAT riffs!
The trooper, the first song by Maiden I ever learned.
And only, don’t mind me I’ve only been playing for two years.
It’s the only song you’ve learned?
@@k0slizard389 the only Maiden song
My favourites (in no order) :
1) Wasted years
2) Phantom of the opera
3) Trooper
Which is yours?
Tough question. If I really had to choose, then Phantom of the Opera, Trooper and Iron Maiden would be my favs right now. But Hallowed Be Thy Name is also great.

Omg wasted years is my favourite too!
nice tuto!! i'll learn it nooow!
Loved these songs.
I wish I could play one of those. Fear of the dark seems most realistic but still far away
Fear of the Dark's intro isn't too difficult or fast and was my first attempt at Iron Maiden back when I started playing guitar. I think i will do a beginner video for that.
i watched these vids about 6 months ago thinking the same thing lol, i can now play 4/10 confidently
You got this brotha!!!
Yeah jusg set out some time to rake the out one measure at a time, you feel better if you get something to play quicker
By the way, there's a Fear of the Dark video on my channel now. Might be a good starting point to get into playing Iron Maiden (except the second solo of course, it's absurdly challenging).
I swear you can....
Nicely done! Thx for the effort!
it was great jamming with you XD
The pleasure is all mine!
well done, phantom of the opera is one my favourite song 🤘
Love it thank you so much!!
By the way even if this was sped up (which I dont believe it is), who the fuck should care. He's not showing off skills. He's tabbed the fucking things for us to learn. Nice one dude 👍🏻🤘🏻
Great Vid, Great Track!. PowerSlave 40th Anniversary in a few days! 🎸

Very well done. To those who criticize please make your own video and post the link 😎🤟up the irons!
Someone's always got to criticize
Just the way it is
That was savage!
Good job, would love a part two with maybe some less known riffs, some album only tracks and some from the blaze era like maybe judgement of heaven, two worlds collide and lightning strikes twice.
After i first played phantom of the opera on bass i hardly picked up a guitar since. Bass all the way for me.
Excellent!👍👍👍👍
Very good! Keep it up 🤟🏻
Great, thanks!!
Up the irons 🤘🏼
Phantom of the opera....🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
Who else jams these to best of the beast ? 😁👍👊
That was Awesome!
I can play any song speeding up the video too LMAO 😂😂

with love i encourage you to work your vibrato on bending.great video. subscribed
I don't know why, but the hand move is just not natural, like it has been recorded slowy and accelerated ? so sad
Its clearly sped up your right
I agree, the movements really do look strange. I think this has something to do with the cam's shutter speed and lighting.
If you look at his left hand, you can see his shutterspeed is weird (smth like 15 fps) giving it stop motion vibes, this speed for downstrokes isnt too hard to get so I'd doubt he'd do this on purpose
Такие быстрые движения правой руки , может повторить тот кто живет без женщины
Lol.these are riffs for mediocre player.if your hand dont goes fast i would say learn those riffs..🙄
In TNoTB do you use your pink in power chords to mute the low E with the middle finger? :D
Yes correct, I mute the E with the middle finger in this case.
Thanks🤩
Honorable Mention : Charlotte The Harlot
Which model Ibanez Guitar?

Hell on earth, when the Wilfrido winds blows.
Fear of a dark respect)))) All respect songs

My wildest fantasy to pull of what I just heard
It can come true with a bit of practice. :)
Excellent! Just work on those bends.
Ghost of the navigatorrrrr
I'm a relative novice and by far the easiest riff is Flash of the Blade. All on the D string
metallica iconic riffs !!!
I'm working on it.
By the way, it's done: ruclips.net/video/RJ5Dm45H354/видео.html
Okay 👍🏻
Why u speed up the video
that number of the beast riff comes in on a pick-up; not on beat one.
How is number of the beast on here
What about Afraight to shoot strangers and wasting love? :)
Why does the 11h12p11 - 9 - 8 sound so awful? the 9 - 11 sounds cool but the 8 is weird idk
Where eagles dare is also a good riff
Is this sped up or has it been filmed on a potato?
prowler
fear of the dark >>>>>
10 ironic Icon Maiden riffs
Any Be Quick Or Be Dead fans here???
You obviously weren't playing run to the hills?
Fear the dark
Dance of death .
🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
posers searching where dance of death is💀
OOH DELETE HALLOWED BE THY NAME
sounds like 8 bit 😅
Табы конечно хорошо, но исполнение просто адское говно.
Riffs qls pencas wn !!! cero creatividad, (Con respeto, pero si el N° 10 si es bueno)
This is so fake lol
