Drew your videos are epic and youre a hilarious dude! cant wait for your channel to blow up! wish youre "feeling good like i should" video was still anywhere LOL
Trying to get my mind to be comfortable in balance point where the bike feels weightless. It's such a strange feeling to get used to. I still have the "holy shit" reaction when i get up there. Working on keeping my feet on the pegs and not spreading them haha
Great vid, man! I'd like to learn wheelies on something like the Grom (Austrian brand: Brixton Crossfire 125 XS) but I've been told that it's pretty hard to translate what you've learned on an ultralight tiny funbike to a full size motorcycle. Is that true and if so, why?
From what I've heard (don't have experience), people that learn to wheelie on a nice light low powered bike have far better control with a bigger bike. Might be wrong, but from the people I've spoken to that's what they've said
Hey man. Awesome video. Thanks for the tips. I am practicing wheelies and getting used to the rear brake. I hit Bp a few times now but every time I hit it , I smash the brake and drop it down. How much pressure should I apply so the bike doesn’t drop right down ?
Thanks for a very detailed and convincing video about how to do wheelies! 👍👍 Can we do a wheelie on a Kawasaki Ninja 400cc 2020? Does it have enough power? Is it possible to do wheelies in 2nd gear on Ninja 400?
If you still have the bike can you make a short or video on the handbrake setup I just did mine and it drives me crazy with the orientation I have I switch it around and move it around every time I ride it
it helps good with stock brakes in my opinion cuz it makes it a bit more sensitive but I kept the spring on my bike cuz my brakes are already hella touchy and I don’t want them any more sensitive
I still am struggling with these. I feel like maybe my timing or something is off. It’s like I basically can’t get the bike up unless I am rolling with clutch in and super high rpms. I always see them done in one fluid motion lol. I must be missing something for sure. I have tried compressing the forks and leaning back more. Idk I’m struggling lol.
@@lotlizardz8218 Yeah I am doing them in first gear. I watched another video where a dude learned from complete stops. Definitely don’t really feel like I am hugging the bars but maybe lol.
@@nateskate11 its a natural reaction that people do when learning without even realizing it, practicing from a stop is fine too, have someone film you doing them and then you'll see if you're hugging the bars or not
Stay on the gas! just give that brake a lil love tap once you hit balance point, if you cut the throttle and tap the break your wheelies will be too choppy or it will just come back down every time
Clutch could help get some exhaust it can add 0.4 to 0.8 hp depending on the brand if your willing to big bore the engine and get oil injectors stock groms are bad for it cause if not the oil stays in the back of your motor causing your gears in the front to seize the motor
@@lotlizardz8218 Tampa is a about a 17hr drive and Miami is 20hrs. I was thinking Atlanta as its only 10hrs. I could easily drive that myself because it's depressing up here right now lol
Can you explain how once you get brake fade once then it happens a lot quicker every time after? When you keep the same pads, bleed brakes and they don’t fade anymore? Brake fluid has a boiling point which is why the more expensive fluid is a lot harder to burn up
One of the simpler wheelie tutorials I've seen yet. thanks.
I only have 10 miles on my grom why am i here 😂
because if youre like me you accidentally wheelied once or twice in the first 10 miles lol
I started at 300miles lol. The break in period was too long for me.
bro I'm watching this with my coffee before heading to my first MSF class in an hour
*_Yay now I know!_*
Just keep it up! you should turn pro in no time and be able to attend winter vacation 2021!
Oh hi
Same 😂
Dude you have the best Grom wheelie tutorial on RUclips that I’ve seen yet! Thank you
That was very clear and concise! Thanks
Love the way you explain things man... keep up the good work.
And I love that you didn’t ask me to “SMAAaAAaASSSH THAT LIKE BUTTON”
no problem! i leave it up to the people if they wanna subscribe or not lol

Super helpful video for z125s too!
Dude keep pumping content out! You're gonna take off!
great wheelie vid! Can't wait to practice the brake like you were doing!
You ain’t lying love this video I am new at wheelies an I do gotta remember footieeeeee footieeeee 😂😂😂
Best video hands down
6:40 shadow of an eagle thinking it was going to eat a Lizard :) Good Vid
What about oil? Do you pour as much as usual? A little more so as not to damage the engine? Grettings from Poland man !

Great video bro very helpful
Best advice from you is to keep the foot on the brake 👍👍👍
Seen a few "learn to wheelie" vids on here and gotta say, this one is the most on point.
Thanks! Hopefully it helps a lot of people!
I'm from Vietnam, can you teach me how to pick?

What is the most cost effect power upgrade on a Grom?
Thank you

Can we do a wheelie on a Kawasaki Ninja 400cc 2020? Does it have enough power? Is it possible to do wheelies in 2nd gear on Ninja 400?
yes plenty of power!
a grom only has 125cc
Awesome vid. I'm working on my Grom wheelies and uploading progress videos as I go! I've gotten a bit better since my last video.
Thanks for the tips.
Where do post you’re vids I’m interested!
I have started to learn how to wheelie my 48hp mt09 but i keep getting wheelslip when i clutchup how can i fix that? My tires are warm
100% accurate with drilling the back brake into your brain because i did exactly what you said, took my feet off and ate shit lol
It happens! It’s happened to me learning as well. Trying to get the newer riders to avoid doing that! Lol
There it is again! That's the foot brake lol..
6:36 there is a shadow on the road, what is it?
have you done any aftermarket clutch springs or anything to clutch?
If you still have the bike can you make a short or video on the handbrake setup I just did mine and it drives me crazy with the orientation I have I switch it around and move it around every time I ride it
Just looped my grom 😞
What’s this mean
how much throttle u give? in %
thank you brother, it's a war.. but I will win this battle.
hello good I have a grom honda I would like to start doing wheelies what output pinion and crown do I mount to start? thanks greetings
How does your grom come up so quick with ease looked like you didn’t even pull up lol
you gotta give it the beans lol which means alot of throttle
When you catch it with the rear brake do you let off the gas at the same time?
Thanks bro
Question is it better to take the foot break spring out to gett a better feel of you pressing down on the foot break while up in wheelies.
it helps good with stock brakes in my opinion cuz it makes it a bit more sensitive but I kept the spring on my bike cuz my brakes are already hella touchy and I don’t want them any more sensitive

Oh and you NEED a steady supply of clutch discs lool
never had to change them yet lol
My grom won’t clutch up should I get better clutch springs
Does anyone know if it’s the same for a stretched grom?
Great video . One question. when i get too high and hit my rear brake do i cut the throttle at the same time or stay on it steady? thx

When u say dump clutch do you just let go all at once or is it still somewhat easy
Let it go

are you going on any big rideouts soon? im trying to plan a trip down there from up here in Michigan.
it depends on when you come down, Tampa Grom Squad puts on some pretty good rides every now and then

How do I see? The bike covers my view
How tall are you dude, looking into getting a TNT 135 for a first stunt bike to trash. 5’10 here
Does body weight have anything to do with it?
i wouldnt say so, ive seen all kinds of people wheelie these bikes. From 100 pound kids to 300 pound adults
How to get over the fear of balance point do it go away
brake fade is from pads overheating my friend, not fluid haha

do you use the oilpump mod?
yes, i built my own with the stock oil pump
What levers????
Does the grom modify some item on engine?
what do you mean?

My grom doesn’t even wheelie in first lol even if I clutch up why? I also feel like my groms gear lever is crap
i would look at how your clutch is adjusted, it could be slipping
@@lotlizardz8218 which way does it get adjusted properly? Is it in towards the clutch lever or out towards the brake lever
