i’ve been learning to wheelie my gsxr 600 which isn’t exactly the same as the grom but these tips have been helping me learn so much faster. its been 3 days and i finally hit and stayed at balance point for almost 3 seconds.
Soon after that man you’ll be riding them out a lot longer I have a lifan kp mini 150 cc so a bit more power then a grom and these tips help for me decently but I’ve picked up a couple things on my own I ride in between balance point and right under it so I’m throttling it the whole way but I’m not needing to hit my brake I’m just balancing that bitch and it’s the scariest feeling but when you get it up and start riding it out lean back a little bit more then where you would be riding sitting straight up
That’s My Son! Gooo Lo! Since he’s been 3 years old he asked for a motorcycle for Christmas He is fearless & always so bad(ass) Thanks to you guys for being so great & helpful 💪🏼❤️
This video is exactly where i’m at right now !! my boyfriend is teaching me the same way , this video is very encouraging and definitely helped me 🙌🏾🔥🔥
one thing I wish someone told me while learning how to wheelie is after you learn how to pop it up if you have trouble balancing side to side and maintaining the wheelie focus on BREATHING instead of balancing your body will naturally try to balance it scooting ur butt and so on focusing on breathing helped me Sooooo much once I got the muscle memory of popping it up perfect IT IS ALL ABOUT THE FEEL
Picked up a grom around october not knowing balance point or footbrake. Now i know how to scrape and dip back whenever i want. Been learning coasters too. Shoutout to you guy’s bc been watching your old vids which helped out a lot!
NIce job guys! Been practicing wheelies since last summer with my son and your videos were a huge help for the both of us. All your videos absolutely rock!
Found your channel just in time! I've been learning wheelies on a gsxr 750(can only chase). But about to grab myself a grom and stunt it out to learn proper technique. Just need to find myself a mod list for it, besides the obvious crash protection. Time to binge watch the channel over and over. 🙃
@@TheComboKids I would have loved a new shirt they look great and an awesome message but you dont ship to EU i guess cause the shipping fees are crazy these days? :(
Hey Guys Another great lesson vid. I’m getting pretty comfortable on my SF Grom at this point so I have two questions. At what point do you think it’s time to move up to a big bike? (I can wheelie my entire lot at balance point under control) What is the best bike to follow the Grom ?(FZ/MT07, 636,R7,etc) Appreciate all your lessons. Thanks!
Whats that extra lever on the left handlebar? Is that like a front brake for burnouts? Or like another rear brake for wheelies where ur foot isnt on the foot brake?
1:48 she said be careful when you roll your hand over to get more gas, does she mean dont curve your hand to get more gas, because i have started doing that, the bike comes up higher that way. but if its a bad habit please reply clarifying for me. thanks
What is the gearing on the bike? I mean front and rear sprocket. Any mods raising the power of the motorcycle? I have my 2017 Grom with 4 gears and 14 sprocket on the front and I struggle so much to get it up.
I just dont go down for the brake. Im trying to do it in 2gear cuz 1 is easy to get up and harder to controll, any tips to improve the back brake without destroying the forks?
I really wanna be able to do these but I can only do this seated because my rearsets have some THICC pegs and dont let me do foot drags w/o saying bye bye to my ankles. Eitherway, at least Im being forced to learn seated and rolling.
I learned on dirrbikes throughout the years like a klx110 but I've always wanted to mess around on a grom to perfect or get better with my wheelies. Riding dirtbikes for so long then trying to wheelie my sport bikes(r6 and r1) was/is so weird ha. Mainly body/riding position and size
I have a 390 duke and I'm very new to stunting. should I learn 1st gear clutch-ups and try 'slow walk it'? Does it give better learning using the 1st gear rather than other gears? When I use 1st gear clutch-up the bike SHOOTS up, I find it scary. But the 2nd gear makes the whole clutch-up process more pleasent and I've managed to 'walk it' for like 3 seconds through this 2nd gear. Should I swap and learn 1st gear or keep doing 2nd? Also I have heard that 390 dukes are like a bigger Grom.
Could anyone help me? I'm also practicing on a little 125, but my main problem is that I keep going to my left side. I don't know if it's because I keep my foot on the ground or if I have an incorrect body position or some other problem. Should I try lowering my tire pressure to make it more square?
Im practicing on my drz400sm im getting better in 2nd gear im determine to learn. Im from newark but now in pa how much the classes im trying to learn before summer lol should i try in 1st gear better or stay in 2nd?
Did alex learn on a full size bike or mini? Great teacher, you can tell she's failed so many times and learned from those failures because she knows all the little nuances!
I don't have a bike, i'm getting tired for trying to afford one, here its hard to get one, you work for 1 Month and get only 50k-60k as payment and the bike its 2 Millions, yeah, 2 Millions one bike used in good conditions, im 23 now, and that is stressful, because you need to eat, pay bills and more, so cant have enough to afford a Bike.
Nice work guys. Reminded me so much of when I learned teaching myself and figuring out all those little things on my own
He’ll yeah man!

did you never drop your bike ?
Learning on a 600 sports bike, man's got balls of steel
Such an enthusiastic coach. Someone like that makes you wanna put in the work
She knows her stuff, like she has been doing it for decades. She reminds me of a much older British instructor that taught me how to ride.
nah
Those poor fork seals.🫤 lol
That's why you never learned how to wheelie. You pitty dead things like it was poor little hamster or some little child from Colombia. 😅
All part of the game but you obviously wouldn’t understand
@@stuffD-fh8vf it's wise to learn them from stop.
Yeah dude! Keep on practicing! Always stoked seeing ppl learning how to wheelie!!!
With a teacher who cares YOU CANNOT FAIL almost brought tears to my eyes love the passion
The biggest trick with these wheelies is during the "clutch up"......when you clutch up you need to voice out, BRRAAAAP!!!!
...im serious. Try it
Works best on a bicycle 😎
Great to have you guys bk.

how often does average grom needs suspension rebuild? Never
how often does THIS grom needs suspension rebuild? Every day!😂
Those fork seals have to be leaking 💯
Upgrade to racing bros or heavier springs and you’ll be good

such a good video I’m hella stoked for the bloke you guys are some good teachers 👌🏼👌🏼
Thanks a lot! He crushed it!
I’m learning on a ninja 400 right now. Wish I could just get a grom to learn. Being able to have a foot down the whole time would help so much!
Great video! Additionally suggest teaching him zero circles in parallel to get a feel of brake control.
Thank you so much! That’s a good idea also!
Yee Lorenzo😂😂😂
Look forward to Denmark get a bit warmer, so I also can begin to learn 😍

Question: Landing hard so many times, doe it effect the front end of the bike?
It could damage the fork seals eventually but not fast!
recommendations on grom mods for learning wheelies?
I have the CRF 450L. Is the Grom an easier bike to learn on and cheaper (not breaking or damaging stuff when failing)?

Yes try letting out some air and practice you’ll get it.start from dead stop with left foot off the bike right on the brake and go
Is a grom the best bike to learn wheelies or?
What's the model of this orange moto? Pls need to know❤
Looks like a modded honda grom?
This some theraputic ish.

Yes it is slightly uncomfortable! After a few sessions we get both feet on! It helps so much at first with stability!
Yeah you’ll get used to it. I stayed doing it until I could slow down/speed up on demand then I put both feet on buts that’s just me.
