Jack, wherever you are and whatever you’re up to, I hope you’re doing well. We miss hearing your voice and these amazing videos but if you’re happy and healthy, more power to ya! ❤
I'll never forget going on this ride with some friends as a kid. Once we were seated in our Doom Buggy, one of my friends instantly grabbed the safety bar and forced it down. Then the "Ghost Host" says "Do not pull down on the safety bar, please! I will lower it for you!" My friend then panicked and forced it back up. Then it wouldn't come back down, so he grabbed it but it was stuck. A ride host dressed as a butler then came along, pushed the bar down, and completely in character drones *DON'T DO THAT AGAIN* sounding like Lurch from The Addams Family! Great memories!
My daughter did this yesterday on the ride haha. Got in and she tried pulling it down and the ghost speaker yelled that she panicked but I was like leave it they’ll check it’s just a what they always say but in character here haha.

When I was six years old, I rode the Disneyworld haunted mansion. It began a fascination with ghosts, cryptids, and the paranormal in general that lasts to this day. Nine years later, at fifteen, I conducted my first paranormal investigation, and forty years later, I still chase ghosts whenever I get the chance. I've seen quite a lot of things in that time, and I won't stop until I'm a ghost myself.

Hi Jack, just wanted to say thank you for all of these incredibly well edited and narrated videos. My family and I are going back to Orlando for my 40th in Feb next year, for the first time in around 15yrs, and these videos have served as a great way for us all to come together and get excited (plus reminisce) about new and old holidays. Thank you so much for giving us that. I hope to see new videos before we go, but if not and you’ve moved on to other things, I hope all is good and you realise the positive effect you’ve had on others with this channel
This is my favorite ride (despite being terrified of it as a kid xD), it has the most interesting storyline of all the attractions (Guillermo del Toro was going to be involved in the 2023 movie and I know he and only he would have made the story justice, now I just hope this film is going to be at least a fun watch). I’m gonna say it: the haunted mansion movie was pretty good. The set design and special effects were great (the mausoleum scene is a highlight.) I think that if Eddie Murphy had toned down how silly his performance was, it would have been a much better movie (if he was more serious, and less over-the-top, it would enhance the scary elements and make the silly bits contrast better.) Honestly, give it another shot and you might like it more than you expect!

Oh God that intro of the kids staring at the haunted mansion. It makes me feel old😂i remember watching it on vhs almost daily and I would always cover my eyes since I found that segment scary.
I'm very interested by the advertisement's explanation that "Walt was worried that the ghosts from the old houses torn down for the freeways would disappear if they didn't have a place to haunt." Like, such a weird backstory the buildings theming.
When I went to Hong Kong, I made a point to ride Mystic Manor as many times as possible, around 8 times when I went there :) it really was a worthy tribute to the Haunted Mansion without the ghostly theme. There are many easter eggs and homages to the Haunted Mansion in the ride but it truly does stand out as one of the best Disney rides, sadly far less better known than the Haunted Mansions and Phantom Manor.
As someone who grew up with the Eddie Murphy film before becoming a fan of the ride and of the Disney parks, I still really enjoy it and it makes me sad that more fans of the ride do not. It's such a prolific film in my life and it's one of the ones I can turn to for comfort. Like-- it's good and y'all are just mad because it doesn't follow the ride to a T.
Thank you! These are my thoughts on the film too. It was one of my favorite movies to watch growing up and it was also what introduced me to the haunted mansion ride as well. It’ll always have a place in my heart.

That and Eddie Murphy's comedy doesn't fit the tone that should be a HAUNTED MANSION film, which should, by all rights, focus on the 999 Grim Grinning Ghosts, NOT some outsider visitors, because that's what the audience/guests are supposed to be.

Yes you're back, we missed you
When I went to Hong Kong, I made a point to ride Mystic Manor as many times as possible, around 8 times when I went there :) it really was a worthy tribute to the Haunted Mansion without the ghostly theme. There are many easter eggs and homages to the Haunted Mansion in the ride but it truly does stand out as one of the best Disney rides, sadly far less better known than the Haunted Mansions and Phantom Manor.
The intro was so nostalgic omg. I used to watch that tape almost everyday of my life as a child 😭
He's back! Let's goooo
When the world needed him most, he came back... and with a video better than ever
Welcome back! I’d love to see some stuff on Sea World or Legoland! Just took my family to Sea World and would love to hear your take on it!
So glad you’re back!!!!! Missed your voice and knowledge! X
HES BACK!!!! 🎉
I like how you included Luigi’s Mansion music for this nice touch! ;)
I thought I was the only one who noticed that!

AND HE RETURNS LETS GOOOOOO
BABE WAKE UP NEW THEME PARK HISTORY VIDEO IS UP!!! No but for real so glad you’re back!
i miss this guy
Great to have you back. I was having a bad day and then I saw your new video pop up and it changed my whole day so thank you
As someone who grew up with the Eddie Murphy film before becoming a fan of the ride and of the Disney parks, I still really enjoy it and it makes me sad that more fans of the ride do not.

Hay good to you have you back and with one of Disneys absolute classics
I love the little jokes and/or comments made during this video! "Noping the hell out of the attic" and the thing about the passes both made me chuckle, LOL
Also, I liked the Eddie Murphy "Haunted Mansion" movie
I didn’t bring my ticket today, and wasn’t expecting great content!
Loved this ride when I first rode it recently
Wow, it's been a while since I've seen your videos last year in 2022. I've never rode this, but I saw this attraction in person when I went to the Magic Kingdom at the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, FL in 2002, 2006, and 2014.
Just discovered your channel and the videos keep getting better and better !
I would love to see a deep down into Pandora, The World of Avatar at Animal Kingdom, and especially about Flight of Passage.
Congratulations, and keep going !
Now there’s an iconic ride history
Bro you're good at this, please keep it going !! Can maybe expand to the other parks or California maybe!
Could you do an episode on the Pirates of the Caribbean? I think it'd be interesting because of how it was Walt Disney's last attraction and how much the ride changed over time because of the movies
Welcome Back!! Feels good to watch a new video on this channel!
Wait, the Hatbox Ghost is going to be in my state's Haunted Mansion? How ghoulishly delightful.
Welcome back!!!
