Outstanding skill in the chipping technique. This type of artistry is difficult to master. I would like to see this in slow motion, about half speed. Great stuff Mig, like your work.
hi, are you applying that on a gloss or matte surface? and after you are done with the weathering are you going to sealed that with matte varnish or leave it as it is? by the way i am using a lacquer paints in all my models. specially my last coat is always a lacquer paints. thanks migs. hope to here from you. :)
+AMMO by MIG JIMENEZ I already follow you on facebook and im a regular of your store :) I even use some of your products in tutorials on my blog, airbrushandanalog.blogspot.com :)
Hi, so impressed with the products, i`ve opened an account and filled my cart and i`m just waiting for the pennies now! On this demo are you painting directly onto white plastic? (like many gundam builders do) or have you coated with white paint first? I`m building a custom/scratch built project at the moment and want it to be white and weathered but will have to paint it with a white base as many of the parts are none white and i`m just wondering if the effects will work as well on a white paint too. Thanks
I'm on the fence about buying that book. It seems like it'd be good to have a physical reference to keep by the workbench, but I worry that it's just a fixed set of techniques. Does it at least go into how the techniques it describes can be used across different colors/scenarios/environments, especially weathering?
Hola maginifico trabajo , en cuanto se puede vender una figura asi pintada como la del video ? hi , in how much you can sell a figure painted like this one ?
It is a really fine one, 00 or similar. You can use the Ammo paint directly form the bottle with pencil and airbrush, it isn't necessary to thin the paint down. Hi, can anyone direct me to where I can find tutorials on how to achieve the "grey" weathering as shown in the model of the video? What I mean is the subtle grey edges on the white parts. Can they be achieved without using airbrush? Thanks.
People overdue weathering. Especially rust. Any military force would not let their equipment rust out like that. Battle damage, oil stains, dirt and paint scuffs are always repaired. These gundam modelers are watching aliens and Star Wars too much.

Those are some of the best weathered Gunpla I've seen in a long time!
I like these detail. However, too much of it make me question. The earth federation does not perform corrosion control?
Love your weathering skills. This is good stuff. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you for doing an English version

Hi, if we applying a coating such as clear flat, it will be before or after we did the chipping?

MS-06R-1A Zaku II High Mobility type is what your painting right?
Is there a more appropriate chipping color for dark green?
my 044 chipping bottle looks more brown than black. Any idea why? Every video i see using it, it looks really black, yet mine is brown
this is epic.
Where in the philipines can i buy those paints?
