Trust me selling in buy homes are crazy stressful. When buying my first home I had 50% financing from the state in 50% from the federal government so in total 100%. But one day before the settlement. They threw out my loan and it would not be approve because the county I was buying didn't have building codes. Luckily I was saving money and I could afford it with my credit getting a 5% download with a small personal loan. So I know how crazy stressful the process can be. That said I very much enjoy your guys channel it just makes me smile seeing your sweet little family. Best wishes to the move in channel plus health. Peace

Moving is always stressful, we are living in our fourth we are never going to move again home. So you never know where life is going to take you. I used to be a real estate broker here in the states. The bank is doing what they refer to as "underwriting" that is where they cross the t's and dot the i's. I am sure that they eventually get the loan fully approved.

If it’s like the US, all walls, ceilings, and floors need to be finished structurally to get occupancy certificate. Bank doesn’t want to lend money for a house that can not be legally occupied. Private cash sale would not be an issue. Just a thought.
Nice swim, I remember when the kids were that age, really fun!

Hiya you three, dear lady you need a step ladder to get in the cab... I could have sworn you would kick that football, but no, a neat sidestep and on with the move. Talking of moving my dad was in the Royal Air Force and on their 25 wedding anniversary my mum worked out in those years they had moved 25 times, so maybe there is a bright side to leaving the forces early...Stay safe...Steve...

Take care of your back. I worked in a small dept in a co. I would have to "borrow" help for some of the lifting I had to do. I used to tell the guys, "Get yer dresses on Boys". It was my way of reminding them to lift with their legs.... like a woman in a dress. That's the correct way to lift. Noticed she was "dressed" for lifting.

It would seem banks are inherently pains in the butt, but in their defense they are responsible for investing their depositors money wisely.
When I bought my first house, at the closing, after all the paperwork was signed and it was a done deal, the seller refused to give me the keys to the house because she wanted to make sure the check cleared. I told her that was between her and the bank and out of my hands, but she was adamant.
So, I recalled that when they had enclosed the back porch, they had hung the outside door backwards with the hinge pins exposed to the outdoors. Duh! I bought new door locksets, popped those hinge pins and replaced all the locks. When she called me two weeks later and told me I could pick up the keys, I told her she could put her keys where the sun didn't shine and that I'd been living in the house for two weeks. She asks, "How did you get into the house?" To which I replied, "That, ma'am, is none of your business. It's MY house!" And that was that.
When my brother came to visit, we re-hung that outside door so the hinges were indoors where they belonged.
It was a nice house and well built, but it was in Houston, TX and we don't miss that one bit other than my wife's family all live near there. On second thought...Win-Win!🤪

YOU SHOULD NOT BE ON A TIME CRUNCH IF THE HOUSE IS NOT SOLD IF you have your OWN realtor talk to them about it . IF you have / had 2 weeks then you should still have 2 weeks until it is sold . I have no knowledge about this, but it makes plain sense. If you don’t have your own realtor asked someone else about it
