I agree with exactly what you said . My most recent relationship , what he really was looking for was sex and it was hard for him because I was decent in all the way the other women weren’t but he said he didn’t care that other women he was involved with slept around. I said that’s sick. So I had standards and morals and thought we got along well but I don’t sleep around and wanted to save sex for Marriage. I am 65? Years old and respect myself. He says he isn’t interested in Marriage ( he is 58 years old never married but always had girlfriends) even though I would be the perfect person to marry!!So he Ran off with one of his past women who straight up cheated on him as I had to hear all about it., But when he decided to go back to her, Then Ghosted me and still is. Left me because I was living by my standards and my morals, and he didn’t care to have somebody who had that perspective.
Its was a Love Bombed situation at the beginning and I was all in to doing so much for him. Turns out after all the stuff I am listening to to about relationships and Narcissistic I had one on me hands.
Real talk Stephen!!!!! Positivity is very important to me. I agree when it comes to a man. I can't deal with negative energy. Physical attraction is everything to me. If i am not physical attracted to that man how i can even consider dating him. I know a few people who are in a situationships and they don't have respect and they are not physical attractive to that person. I think some people just be looking for stability and what they can get out of a person. That is wrong.

We have to be attracted to our partners, but that does not mean everyone has the same idea of what they are attracted to. We are not a monolith. That being said, I can't understand for the life of me why people get offended when someone says, "We need to start exercising more." This idea of 'taking someone as they are' is a lie society tried to push years ago. The fact is that people need to be open to adapting and making changes. We all should be wokring on bettering ourselves. If you're not willing to do that, then you clearly aren't ready for a relationship.
