Hello Ianclin, thank you. Gardening is hard so just keep doing it one project at a time and you will get there. I try to just focus on a small area so I stay motivated. You are doing a beautiful job! 👊🏾
Your sidewalk is fabulous. I stained my 6 ft high fence with a solid stain. It was an old fence and needed replacing but I couldn't afford it. Looks much better. I live in South Carolina, Zone 8A. We too are having very hot weather and humidity for June. Today's high was 94. I like brown mulch too. It makes the plants pop, as you mentioned. My spring project this year was to paint the old brick on my house to match the gray cedar shakes on the other parts of my house. My friends thought I was crazy, but it looks much better and more modern.
Hello Elizabeth, thank you. wow, you had some awesome projects. I’m sure your bricks look so beautiful and tie in well. Did your friend like the final results? 😊 It is amazing how some stain can make an old fence look 💯 better. 👊🏾 Try to stay cool.
Hey Daphne! It's been scorching hot here in Georgia so I haven't been back in my yard yet. I am hoping to get back to my bottom deck for my next video. Your yard work is looking great. I never thought of splitting the plants up. That's a very good idea. I am always scared I will mess them up if I split them. I love how the stain looks on your walkway. It looks natural. TFS
Hello Tiffany, stay cool! Hopefully it will cool down soon. I can’t wait to see it. Yes, I always split my plants to keep them in size check and you can spread them around. Thank you so much.

Hello fellow gardener. Yes, they want to live! 😅Ferns may be one of your last perennials to make a comeback after spring but you can count on them. With it being extremely HOT where you live, that may have slowed ‘em down a bit (although they love it in my warm climate, tropical, Zone 9b). But perhaps, potting them would be better where you are and overwinter in extreme winters up there on the East Coast. Happy gardening. (We’re in the 100s+ here but our tropicals are loving it). God bless.
Hello Kimmi, thanks, I really neglected the ferns over the winter. This was my first time. 🤣 good to hear! I’m going to pot them up this week. Wow! Stay cool. Yesterday was in the 70’s and today back to 90. 🤣😂🙏🏾 happy gardening to you too!
Looks great Daphne! Gardening is fun and gives so much joy. I worked in my front beds last week, it was overcast and had not hit the 90s yet. It was still hot but I over did it!! I pushed myself to get it done and it looked so good afterward but oh my, I flared up my sciatica 😢 So youre being smart to do a little at a time 😊❤
