Love the message on how a little bit can go a long way. So many videos on RUclips have such big budgets and can feel so unattainable.

Becca, bring all your cushions inside when it rains and in the winter. They will last longer. Your Egg chair as well. The patio looks amazing by the way. Love the set you got and now that the fence has been moved can’t wait to see what you do with the new space.

Loved both kitchen and backyard patio. Just great! Lots of work both done. You remind me of myself. Your energy-related tasks are all learning for your home. I never did elect applications. That was so great. I am so proud of you. Love your pictures thanks.

Cute! What a deal! I have to say, having a dining set is the best thing we have bought for our patio. We use it every day in the summer! We could have done lounge seating, but a place to sit and eat is actually way more useful and versatile for our family.
The patio looks so good now! What a difference moving the fence made!

Wow moving the fence made a HUGE difference aesthetically as well as functionality!

i think it would be cute to put either flower boxes on top of the concrete wall or make them to hang over( you could probably use a big L bracket for it) and have trailing plants hanging out of them. maybe even stencil a stone look on the wall. probably could use a piece of cardboard to draw around and paint a grout line then sponge/rag paint a faux stone finish on it. from far away i think it would look pretty real and with the hanging plants over it would be pretty awesome.

Hi Becca, you guys did a great job, your patio looks so good! I can imagine Baby Becca De La Plants in a couple of summers outdoors helping to plant and build with her Mommy and Daddy, she will be so cute!!!

Oh gosh Becca, so sorry that it took me this long to respond to this awesome video. I really love your patio area and how you made it over it is really looking so great and I love the new fence and gate that you redid. I also love rit dye and have used it a lot, it is really a great dye. Thanks so much for this great video that I really did have a wonderful time watching, sending love and hugs, bye! 🤗😍👏👏🙌👍💜💜💜

This looks so so great! I have been feeling pretty intimidated by our own patio and all the changes I want to make but this is a great reminder even small steps can make a huge difference! I’ll probably start with some small things I can manage/afford for now and keep building on it :)

This was really fun to watch after just being there, and no knowing you built that fence! Amazing!!! But I will say, the part that got me was you waddling away with the bin of dye water. 💀

Looks lovely. A stone pathway where the fence line used to be would look beautiful. It looks like it would lead right to where your gate is.

I have that egg chair too, but the white cushion version. I made some Velcro covers out of outdoor fabric so I could put it on my porch. I think it will need new ones every few years, but I just kept the original ones on under the Velcro ones as an extra barrier and it works great.

Becca this space is amazing!! 😍 moving the fence made such a huge difference!
Also just an idea but what if you hung some string lights from the house to the tree? 👀 (if you have an outdoor outlet)
    Anyway, incredible transformation friend! 💞✨

Hi, you did a very nice job. Moving that fence especially made so much more sense. Do you need it for the dogs? The dyed pillow covers came out well and give that wicker chair a nice upgrade.

I’ve found the iDye brand of dyes much stronger than the RIT dye. If you want to try again or need to do something else.

I know I´m late but just wanted to mention that you can sew pillow cases with out a zipper (I also hate putting in zipper). Just have the fabric overlap about 10cm/4inch, you can pull that open to put the insert in, but it will stay closed enough during using it. Do this on the back of the pillow. I have never done it with very bigg cushions, or outdoor cushions though, and of course the filing isn´t as sealed in as with a zipper (not sure if that´s a problem with rain or insects, maybe add a velcro if you want it closed more), but might be worth a shot anyway.

If you have old pillowcases you could use them on your inners of your cushionscut the ends to size and sew or pin.

its really pretty....where the flowers and lantern are in that corner would be nice with big pot in each outer corner put cement in the bottom to keep it sturdy with tall wood post potting soil and flowers and string lights from the house to the post ....Not sure if I explained that right ...
