Hello Joyce, congratulations, what a true blessing. I’m so glad you have been having such a wonderful and new experience in your garden. Gardening can bring so much joy for just the smallest things. I know I am so grateful for the time spent and it seems like you feel the same way. Thank you so much and happy gardening!
Yes, after neglecting my backyard for years I'm learning to do a small area at a time. It's looking better little by little and I am enjoying the process. Thanks for your videos, it inspires me to keep progressing on my yard 😀
You guys did a great job with the outdoor areas that you built and it’s holding up nicely. The new stain is giving it new life. I agree, taking your time is key. Great work.
Looks great, you always do an awesome job! I recently did extensive cleaning on the side closest to one of my neighbors yard. We had vinyl fencing but one of the neighbors pine tree had fallen on it couple years ago so we had to have it removed. Pines in my area are also ginormous, we had six and finally had them cut down and stumped after being here almost 8 years. Things fall off them year round and in the summer it's just too much work cleaning after them! The neighbor neglected her garden and she has a sumoc tree that invaded my side. They will throw shoots and will produce where ever the shoots land. I was cutting like a mad woman and pulling them and the shoots in some very hot weather. After a few weekends, and many lowes bags later I finally got it to where I can now see where my fencing was and will be. It was so rewarding to me. Now getting ready for the new fence!!!
Hello Madeline, thank you so much. It is so crazy how big they get and how pine straw falls. Wow, that is such a big project. I can only imagine how hard it was. Will you hire the fence out or tackle DIY? I am dreaming of a new fence.
Hi Daphne, I love your outdoor work. You so remind me of myself. I love love your plants. You recently trimmed some flowers from your garden and I literally screamed nooooooooo to the TV. Reason being, I don’t believe our weather here in Florida is all that conducive to gardening. So when I see all those beautiful blooms being cut away, it hurts my heart. I wish I could produce even a quarter of that. You said you didn’t want it to take away from the plants itself, when here I am thinking that was the most beautiful part. Anyway, I love your show, not only for the gardening but every else such as the painting and the rocks, and so on. Keep up the good work.
Hello Jane, thank you so much. oh I’m so sorry. I know what you mean, I talk back to the tv too. 🤣 I’ve heard about the challenges of Florida gardening. Thanks so much, I love being able to share all my projects. Soon I will start back posting to Daphne’s indoor living. Are you following on that channel too? So you can enjoy my indoor home. You did an amazing great job. It looks so much better than I love that brown mulch. I like the naturalness of it and it looks really pretty with the slate border around the beds.🌺❣️
Hey Daphne! I have pine trees in my yard, which I am allergic to, but luckily they are far away from my house. I have a lot of pine straw at the foot of my driveway and property line. I love to see power washing being done. My garden has fully overgrown with weeds again. It's been too hot to get outside to tackle it again. You did a great job cleaning up these areas. Thanks for sharing!
Wisteria is beautiful but quite invasive. So happy you got it out. Everything looks so beautiful and your voice is filled with so much peace. Thank you for sharing. Use the pine needles for your acid living plants. Azaleas, rhododendron, hygrangea, etc. Also here in Queens, NY sanitation picks up the yard waste on all garbage days but I do have a big compost bin in my backyard so it’s never much. 👌🏾💞💞💞💞💞
