Exactly what I needed to watch right now. Thanks for sharing. Looked this up because my 2012 Ram had started blowing cold air during fairly cold Canadian winter conditions when I come to a stop at red lights. Low coolant could be the cause, but had anybody else that reads this experienced something similar? My next step is to monitor the cooling fan to see if it's on duty cycle when it shouldn't be. Ciao for now
If someone needs antifreeze in a pinch, anyone will do if it’s running low. He does most likely need a full flush and drain and get the recommended antifreeze in it later though
Ouch! Very Bad Advice. Read the manual, which says Never mix different types of coolant and you have no idea what's already in there. Additionally, and likely more important, is the type of coolant recommended, ie MOPAR OAT coolant, and you have added Prestone non-OAT!! Never trust anyone who is too incompetent to read the manual!!!

Thanks for sharing...very helpful!!
Bad advice - Prestone recommends a different antifreeze for that engine.

How do you get verifies but you don’t give the correct one crazy
wrong coolant for the truck
Wrong coolant. Only use OAT Orange coolant per the owners manual.
I have a 2011 ram sport what Color is the coolant exact I’m trying to find out which color
For that.
Engine uses orange cap dexcool
Very helpful video! Thank You!
Wow. Would have never known how to open the hood!!!you didn't tell us how to get the cap off that antifreeze though
Coolant level needs to be checked with the engine hot on this vehicle.
Terrible advice. Dude just added the wrong type coolant
That is not where you check the coolant level lol

Lol yeah wrong coolant and you don’t fill it to the max level.
Why not also I've heard you can also put coolant in the radiator
