I was in the Navy. I bought my 65 Impala SS, 327, 4 speed, hard top, maroon with white seats, new in 65. I was station in Keflavik Iceland from March 1972 to May 1974. When I left Iceland, I sold my SS for a grand total of $400.00. Biggest mistake I ever made. I should have shipped it back to the States and kept it. I wish I still owned it.
I’ve always wanted one these. Beautiful style especially those rear lights. Imagined this car in black but this cream looking colour with the shade of blue is much more appealing for sure. If I continue to earn money I’ll take it.

Where is the Impala SS Emblems. I had one of these before great car but you need the Emblems.

Lack of Super Sport emblems on fenders, chrome rocker trim and front fender mounted antenna makes me wonder if it's a real SS buyers better check the VIN
I bought a true 65 Impala SS new. This one is a clone. A true SS did not have trim on the quarter panel, the radio antenna should be on the right rear fender. Of course the inside was changed so some of the tell tell signed to know how the dash and door panel were different between the Impala and the Impala SS can not be seen. Nice car, but if the VIN does not start with 65-166 or 65-165, it for sure a clone.
My 65 SS has a front passenger side mounted antenna as well and it’s a True SS. 283 Powerglide. Too bad it’s not in the family anymore 🙁🧜♀️
