Great content Nick . Over the pond we call those "r" joints "rose joints" . The're commonly fitted on race prepared cars . I believe they tend to transmit a harsher ride than the standard set up . But as you've commented the new system is custom made and the difference in handling must be very noticeable and enhanced . I guess the shockabsorbers are adjustable so may take a while to set up. And the gearbox must enhance and capture the engine performance that compliments the suspension mods ........the perfect sleeper ! Thanks Nick
I have a 66 and was looking at the QA1 kit, first thing I noticed was the rear coil over mounts. I did not like that either. You didn't go into the sway bar install much. Thanks for sharing!
Hello Nick. Great how to video and beautiful car. What are the wheels sizes and tire sizes you put on your 65? The stance and wheels are perfect. Love it!!!
Just got this kit installed in my 65 and the ride height is a little high. Is it fairly easy to make adjustments by lowering the adjuster nut or is this best left to pros in the shop?
Nope, I had drooped spindles from my pervious setup, but when switching to this Ridetech setup, I switched back to original height spindles. Works perfect and still has the nice low stance I was after with the coil-overs. Hope that helps!
Incredible, Nick! Your videos have inspired me many times to get out working at my own 65 build. I have much of the same restomod plan as you, are you still happy with the headers and exhaust you have? Cheers!
Would love to know tire and wheel specs. This fitment is perfect!!
Great video, thanks for sharing the installation of this amazing kit. This Ridetech kit for our 65 looks really amazing, unfortunately too expensive.
I have a 1970. I think UMI also makes a great rear suspension set.

Great video, Looks awesome! Considering this kit for my 66 Caprice. Can’t decide between this or the air ride kit.
Looks like your running drop spindle. How is the drop spindle/coil over combo working out. Thinking of doing same.

how much does this adjust - can you get really low?
Hey man! Considering QA1 or ridetech suspension! Any updated comments about your suspension system since you've been driving around more.

Quick question for the front muscle bar did you drill new holes for the mount or did you use the factory holes?

I was thinking QA1...until now! I am only going with coil overs and not the full kit.
Did you go with HQ or the TQ coil overs?
