Always loved the 65-66 Caprice/Impala/Biscayne's. Classic '60's full size look.
Back when I was growing up my grandpa had a 65 SS , are used to get up early in the morning before he would go to work because he would hand me the keys and let me warm it up . I will always remember the sound of that cold start 396 😎
I love how you take the time to take a new pre video walk around through the lot and garage with all the currant inventory. Its not just a pre recorded start and we can see all the stuff thats actually there. The music is also good.
Beautiful ride Nick. I'd put that up there with a Chevelle or GTO in the looks dept. Great color combo and stance. I really like those tires and the tail lights. So far my fav for this week. 👍
Watch many of your videos.... old Impalas are hard to beat! Outside the touch-ups on the passenger fin & rusty bubbling under the vinyl top(same side).... pretty solid car. Won't have a problem selling this one.
I recommend the SUNOCO non ethanol pump gas for that old chevy impala ss.
Problem is you don't find Sunoco down south in Oklahoma and Texas. They were here in the 80s gone now .They are shoving gasahol on everyone. I hate that crap.
Is that before or after you fix the gas guage? 🤣 Sorry but it's a thing now.
@@santaclause8758 here citgo premium is ethanol free. I always use ethanol free gas.
The best looking cars generally seem to be from the 1960s and early 1970s. It may be the peak of American cars.
Another old beauty from Maple Motors. Good for you training the next generation. To keep the family run business family. I think it's wonderful to see you beautiful family throughout these videos. Congratulations on being a great husband and father.
I like it. 327 were great motors.

'71 Chevy Impala was my first car. Outstanding video!! Honest review. You speak your thoughts in the performance. I like that. This car has an great look and sound! Ty for taking extra effort in details in the video. Makes my mind ponder this car throughout the day and want to buy it...
My first new car also. Mine was black 327/4speed with white seats, gorgeous car. Tempting, but probably wouldn’t fit in the garage. Lol
One of the best years for the impala there nick ! Needs a little work, but hell , its a 1965 ! What don't at that model ! Beautiful car nick !!!
Oh man! This was my first car back in 1972 when I was 16. Mine was Nausea blue with white interior. And of course air shocks, dual glas-paks and chrome exhaust tip extensions. Lots of memories. Traded it in on a 71 cuda. Then traded the cuda on a new 78 vette. Then got rid of the vette. Stupid me!
Boy this brings back memories. Mine was candy apple red with black roll pleated seats. I allowed my brother to use it when I went in the Army. Unfortunately he trashed it. I’m watching from Minnesota & will send him your site to remind him of what we could have now. Nice car & nice video.
Wow, brings back a memory.
Awesome to see you bringing your kid with you y’all got a great family run business shows character most people can’t work with family let alone as long as y’all been doing it long time subscriber👍👍👍🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸✝️✝️✝️
Thank you
My dad worked for the Chevrolet dealership in Roanoke RAPIDS NORTH CAROLINA in the 60 s and 70s and he came home with all kinds of new chevys at lunch time I remember that car very well because I was standing on my tip toes and looking into the tail lights at like what's in side? Later he built a shop in the back yard and he taught me and my brothers how to rebuild automatic transmissions 44 years ago
I love the placement of that yellow truck, I’ve not forgotten. Those are both perfect for me. Needless to say, my 2022 has been bad so far, my accident and my wife’s death last Saturday. I’ll stay in touch with you when it’s good again, thank you Nick.
The next time you road test a chevrolet with the 2 speed powerglide transmission I want you to go in reverse after you do a undercarriage test go about 25 mph in reverse I want to hear that trans whine in reverse
Cool. how you show all little defects. TRUE to your word 💯💯💯
Wow super nice 65 SS, love the color , the wheels and the dual antennas!!
I thought you were going to show the passenger side door jamb for a second. It would be nice to add that view. Thanks Nick Great Job again,
,
I've suggested that numerous times but I think he's gotten into such a routine which he follows he easily forgets.
Beautiful, elegant and sexy ride. Love the 65 Impala SS
I think this 1 will sell fast Nice Sound Flowmasters ? Exhaust looks like burning abit of oil
The day I don't watch RUclips this comes up definitely would have bought it
Congrats too the buyer what a sweet ride
Those things are tanks but what a beauty youve got there.
Had a friend Larry graduated high school went to work For Caterpillar In Peoria bought a new black on black 65 impala 327 4 speed really sweet.
My first car was a 1965 Two door Impala Misty Blue Metallic!!! Not an SS so I'd have to have the column shifter. Your's is still a beauty
Thank you
My neighbor had one identical to that in light grey in about 1967, one of the FEW chevys this FORD man would want to own.
Just doing research on a car just like this. 327 ally case powerglide. And 12 bolt rear. All trim as in this video. Looks to be a genuine article. Thanks
My first car, bought a canary yellow when i came back from Vietnam in 1967, wish i still had it. I will be me another if i can find a deal.
Door panels need some work and I would OEM the rear widow deck. Really nice powertrain for a 65. Not sure if it was a Powerglide or TH350. Be cool if it was a TH350.
That's a sweet Impala. What a great cruiser.
Nick, that boy of yours grew 3 years in one.....what a ride!! Sure hope you find another like it for me!
I always wished they offered the Impala SS model minus that fastback window. I always wished they had offered the Bel Air/Biscayne models with an SS package as well. The wagons too. Something about the fastback window that I never loved.
Another classic at Maple Motors, great 👍 car Nick! Beauty! Remember these well. This will sell .
i had one i restored just like it, but mine was red. this one has the correct powerglide transmission,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
Hi Nick, I had the same car back in the day. the wheel and tire combo is period correct and enhances the look of the car.
my car was a didn't have vinyl top. I am sure that it will sell fast. the biggest down side to the car is the rust under the vinyl top. That can be a costly repair.
It was lol. Mine had air too. Black vinyl top but silver paint.
Yep I saw them do antennas on the back and I said damn that horn has to work
A cool.dependable cruiser...smooth ride
I have a 1965 SS impala Convertible 4 speed with hurst shift.. all numbers matching 283 motor .. it’s a freaking beauty, might consider selling.
Hi
If you ever Consider selling your Impala, I might be interested.
@@louiereyes4997 ok .. 40.000 grand if you are interested
My dream car. My dad had one.
I had one of those cars i. The 90s loved her
Beautiful car. Can't go wrong with impala.
been thru so many cell phones but I'm back!!!! God Bless!
Nice car! My Vette runs awful on E10. I only put RV gas in it.
I had a 65 SS white on white and still miss that car. Since those powerglide transmissions were useless I threw in a T400
Did the tach, work! Lol! There were others I liked more! That was sweet! I did a lot of rolling back in the day in one exactly like it, except it was white! Sure looks good in black! Very cool! Glad I watched!
Thanks for watching
My cousin had this car back in the 60’s with a 4 speed and bench seat in black !!!
Hey Nick : Sweet ride love the rims( Illinois Here )feel's like *106 today
I cannot remember ever seeing a 65 impala with a vinyl roof. Or a 65 caprice.
I'd be wary of what's hiding under that vinyl roof. Rust around the rear window allows water in the trunk and rear seat floor boards. You could hear water sloshing around in my trunk when going around corners. My friends wanted to stock it with fish. These cars were great looking but rust was the biggest issue. Pretty much the whole bottom perimeter of the car was prone to rot out.
Looking at it again , man I love that car !!
That is a nice ride. It'll be gone this week. I did notice the smoke as well but don't think it's the carb. The smoke was blue so might be the valve guides. Easy fix tho on these. I'd update the trans since the rest of the car is so clean. No rust under either. Is that a 2 speed hydramatic. I didn't hear a 3rd shift however, I thought the 2 speed was gone after 64 but I could be wrong. Either way this is a nice car and priced well by you.
Looks like the 2 speed , a 66 impala I was looking at buying had the same transmission
My thoughts exactly
My '65 Impala SS and '66 Bel Air both came with 2 speed Powerglides.
I had a 65 Bel Air and it would eat up front tires.......Wouldn't hold an alignment for some reason......Complete front end rebuild and it still ate tires........Finally totalled it and it went to a happy home at the wrecking yard and was parted out
Awesome car looks like the one from the TV show Supernatural 😎👍
Beautiful ride! Like the color.
What a beauty of a car, when I win the lotto one of this is on my list.....
That's sharp 65 a old friend of mine had white 65 with three speed in floor I can't remember the size motor but was V8 cause it had headers and header mufflers
You need your own traffic light in front of your business! Nice Impala there Nick!
Oh, yeah, this one looks mean.
Hell yes! That was my 1st car except mine was a 4 speed and it would cruise out it run like scalded gray hound just beautiful 😍 my compliments sir
Man that's a real car
Just a beautiful unit. Thanks 🇨🇦
No wonder that sold fast, nice.
Incredible Stunning, extremely beautiful WOW impressive interim & exterior, I would purchase this stunner instantly, great video, thanks for sharing guys.
I'll trade my 73 caprice today for that pretty impala. 😍
I bet that be a great road car to drive to FA. Air working of course. Excellent car.
One thing that really bothers me is miss-matched tires. Not staggered but different brands. Especially when there is white lettering involved. That's probably the only negative I have. Concerning the shift kit, I know in some transmissions you can remove the 1-2 spring in the tranny and it'll chirp the tires. I did this in my 02' Police Cruiser. Yes, different make, but maybe that's possible in the Chevy's too.
As long as they're the same size. Front and rear it's ok. But I know what you mean.
Dam what a beauty! If i would of i seen it earlier i would bought it
The roof will probably have to be replaced. To fix the rust underneath it.
this ride looks like it's gonna be good for everyday driving, or when you're going on a roadtrip
Man, if that car was a stick shift I'd be making a phone call and writing a check!
Way back in 1976 I was stationed at Ft Lewis, WA and had a '66 SS396, 4 speed Impala. Like an idiot, sold it and have wanted it back ever since. I see them for sale occasionally but always pretty big bucks. This one, although a small block car is pretty reasonably priced. Hmmm, I wonder if I could live with a P-Glide?
2 speed Power glide I think at that. But don't worry about that 327. It's a great motor especially if it's a 4 BBL higher compression 300 HP engine. Even if it's the 275 HP it's a great engine.
Beautiful amazing looking car beautiful colour thanks Nick have a very nice weekend mate
Mine originally was crocus yellow and somebody put a Earl Scheib paint job on it in green it looks like the John Deere 65 SS anyway I painted it 1995 dark cherry metallic impala super sport color and it turned out great and I'm just wondering about that AC cool anyway um yeah the vinyl top thing I gotta get my books I didn't know they made an impala with a final top and 65😮 I could be wrong I've never seen one I'm about to shoehorn a 1970 LS6 in it. That's a good looking ride though
great job nick, awesome ride!
Nice lake side view
Beautiful car love the torque thrust
Hey, man. I love your videos. I actually work around the area mowing and weedeating major parks like Rockland.
May have seen you out
@@MapleMotorsNickSouthgate I know I have seen y'alls cars out taking pictures and stuff. Nice to see everything. Love the cars. I just bought a 2013 GT Mustang, so I love my cars, too.
Something about not having a shoulder belt on that kid scares me. Modern safety features should be added to classics that are being used on-road.
That's a 35,000-dollar car all day long. Very nice 65 and I would buy it but with 7 cars i don't have the garage space
I had one in Willow Green Metallic 283 Powerglide.
Roll up the windows and AC may work better
My buddy had the same car in high school he has passed from cancer I would have been a buyer
What color / color code is this? Looks really good
SS Impala at Ole' Maple Motors
That's me right there love that car
Nice car, but it boggles my mind how many cars don't have the kick down cable hooked up.?! How can you build a car and not have this working.!:
Do you do a little dealing on your cars that have blemish in on them or are your cars firm
Yes on the horn
Nice car I watch all of your videos
I didn't catch if that was a 2 or 3 speed automatic?
🎉🎉🎉
IMHO, this is the best year.
Very Nice and beatiful car👏👏👏👏
Z
Awesome car with the mechanical stuff all I'm good condition. I gotta say it's gonna need totally stripped and rust fixed and repainted. Another 10 to 15,000 dollars and you will have a nice Impala.
That’s my dream car!
sold 1 million of these vehicles in one year
great video, if known could you please say what engine is in the vehicles. Tks!!
Says 327 on the emblem?
I'm looking for a 1982 Chevy truck shot bed and how much
No vinyl top on mine though
Nice.......... 👍👍
