Wow nice SS. The 409 is the icing on the cake. Thanks Jay!
beautiful super sport your channel is so much nicer now that you show test drives
My first car bought in 1970 as a 16-year old was a ‘65 Impala Super Sport. Mine was burgundy with only a 283 2-barrel and the PowerGlide transmission. Had the white interior and console though. Paid $450 for it!
Mine was the same but with a 327 four barrel. Wish I still had it.
My ‘65 was like this with parchment interior and a wonderful 327. Loved it.
i had one in 73. black interior white interior. not an ss. but a very comfortable car to drive
A buddy in high school had a red 65 SS convertible. I had my 66 Corvair Monza😁
My favorite year Impala.
Great looking 65
BEAUTIFUL CAR.
She is Beautiful❤
I had a 65 Impala (not a SS) 327/4 speed. Went through a bunch of motor mounts. Also when down shifting had to go 4-3-2. If I went from 4 directly to 2 the linkage would hang up.
I had a 72 340 duster with motor mount problems. I just said , hell and put chains on both sides. Never had to worry anymore.
Holy 🦇 batcave and Wayne manor, gourgeus car absolutly awsome wow wow thanks Jay grams president of volo auto museum and russel for perfect photografy from tom your friend now and always 😊😊😊😊
Firewalls painted the wrong color, should be a satin black.
My first car was a 1965 impala rag top
I have a 65 SS with high output 396.. mines automatic, white interior also but with rarer burgundy paint. Mines a restomod though with ride tec coil over suspension..
My dad had one bought it new, wasn't an SS but had the 327 in it.
A very nice example.
Surprised Chevy put the tach so far from the driver
Like I Say Color Makes The Vehicle ❤ 😊
Beautiful!
Beautiful
Boy, I know this one won't last!
NICE CAR 🚘🚗🚘
I am not much for red. Although , this is a beautiful car. Rare 409. Lot of 65 - 68 ss impalas came with 396 with 400 turbo trans
Giddy up giddy up 409!
DEAR SANTA...
Rare last year with the 409
Then came the 427 ‼️
No. The 396 came along and then the 427.
THE 65 IMPALA DESIGN WAS A KNOCKOUT, ESPECIALLY THE SUPER SPORT MODELS WITH THE CONSOLE AND BUCKET SEATS. FORD MODELS OF THAT YEAR WERE NOT AS NICE AS THE CHEVROLETS
Yeah, this one is gone quickly
To help you get rid of it,I'll give you the original retail price
I know where a ss convertible 409 impala is Boys dad bought it new 60 something Red And sitting beside it is a 69 z28 ss orange Boys family owns trucking company The boys are nothing like there dad… He pasted away they ant friendly and caring like there dad was he loan money and help people he had money but didn’t act like he did
Engine doesn't sound right Tom. That kills the desirability of it.
What's the point to talk when you driving a car like this. Their motor has much more to say to boost the sale! Ok guys, we're driving, ok we're turning, omg, just look at this - cut it out please. People who shop for cars like this don't need this talk. When you pushin' a Camry or Hondas yeah, go crazy and talk the shit out them. Don't get this a wrong way tho but seriously.
