Best year Charger & this is a museum piece! Stunning with all the goodies. Jay you need to give Mike some manual shifting lessons, he has many bad habits . Sitting at the 1st stop in 2nd gear. And again on the last drive away he took off in 2nd! And why not downshift when slowing? Ugh!
@@MichaelOlenczuk Mike I'm 65 and have driven every type of manual vehicle from cars to semis to motorcycles & everyone I know who has driven a manual downshifts. Watching you drive a manual you are clearly inexperienced at it. And that last take off was in 2nd, who do you think your fooling? You have done that many times. Acknowledge your shortcomings and improve, thats called growth!
I wasnt go to say anything, but downshifting not only sounds cool, but demonstrates how good the syncromesh works. Saves on the brakes too. But some people have never been show to do that

if that was my charger, I'd install brand new floor insulation so it smells like a new car then when I park it drive it into my garage into a vacuum bag and suck all the air out.. no jokes, don't drive it for 6 months? as fresh as the day you parked it
I believe it’s a stripe car, but green? 🫤 ok. I got all the books, I’ll look it up again, thought that was on the build sheet and don’t know if color of stripe is specified. Anywho its beautiful and takes nothing away from the car. I got a 68 base model XP29H car and that’s my world so I’ll shut da hell up lol 😝
That’s a great buy to, just checked you site, since 2003 that’s about the cost of the restoration of my car, I did 1/3 of it and a shop finishing the rest almost done. People don’t realize how much it cost to restore a car, on their own or a shop. I tell people figure it out what you think then x by 3.

He used to pound on them matching numbers engines and I said something so he did stop doing it 30k off the price will wake anyone up.😊

downshifting to slow down is debatable. they did put brakes on the car for a reason. last pull away was done in 1st not 2nd.

You guys are car experts and you don't know you couldn't get a lime green tail stripe in 1970? YIKES. Nice car but the stripe is a huge mistake.
Doubt the stripe is factory, and who ever did it, looks put on wrong, and it’s gator grain……
That green stripe is indicated on the original fender tag
