To me, this Virginia team had the most resolve, fight, gut and determination than I could remember in so many years of watching this tournament. It was quite amazing, literally.

I’m a UCLA fan (we had a bad year 😂 obviously) but congrats Virginia players, coaches, University officials and fans, that is literally the most spectacular redemption story I have ever heard. That is inspiring. Congrats. And great game by Texas Tech. Great season you should be proud.

Such an incredible experience to be there, very tough loss for my Red Raiders though. Even with the loss it was the most insane & intense sporting event I’ve ever been to of any of my sports teams. Unreal atmosphere.
Just watch any average football(the real one) match and the atmospgere is 100 times better

U know it freakin' kills me alot of the posts regarding Virginia's winning the crown! R ppl who claim to b sports fans and who watch really that ungrateful nowadays no matter the champion! I would expect the level of negativity coming if Duke, Kentucky, Carolina or someone else who's always around this time of year, won again! But this is Virginia for God's sake (a school who'd never even made the NCAA final, let alone win it all), and yet the level of scrutiny associated with them winning seems to be on equal footing with a more familiar face! It's almost as if the public is never satisfied with who wins! Here's a simple solution if your not ever content regarding the outcome! DON'T WATCH! That's why remote controls we're invented!

I remember the Lakers ran a play like this. The defense assumes everyone is lining up for the inbounds pass because of routine and one guy just sprints back the other way for the outlet. That's what happens when you're inexperienced and (somewhat) complacent.

@@jakwiq I can't blame the defense when he has a skill called passing up the ball instead of taking bad shots. His 2nd half "buzzer beater" was a contested BLOCKED 3 pointer. Francis and Moretti were on fire for the majority of the game. Playing hero ball in the last 2 minutes lost them the championship.

I think it was an honest mistake that maybe just one person, out of however many people were watching it, even caught. Plus, after that double-dribble, if Auburn didn't foul Jerome with 1.5 seconds left, they win the game because he missed that half-court shot. Again, Auburn grabbed Jerome's jersey even before the double-dribble, so a foul should have been called even earlier than with 1.5 seconds left.

That's what I came for is some Texas Tech fans that get mad because of the refs. Being a national champion means you control the game not the refs. You'll have to be a national champion to feel that . Me and my team won a Football National championship on December 3 ,2017.
