Through all the years just wishing and being so happy if they even just made the tournament, to the rise of the program under bennett once again after so many years, to the early tournament exits, the elite 8 collapse, and the umbc loss. To all the virginia fans, this was our dream.
Phillip Dunn same here. i’ve been a UVA fan since 2013. my favorite player that i got to watch was Malcolm Brogdon. it’s amazing watching him in the NBA. yeah like you said, all the heartbreaking tournament losses, those are the times you look back on. against Florida, Syracuse, and definitely UMBC to name a few. those times are what make fans diehard fans. almost ACC Tournament time now. can’t wait to see what we can push out this year 💙🧡

Goosebumps watching this, the best tournament in decades, it had it all, even though I'm from the Hampton Roads region of Virginia ( William and Mary , ODU, Hampton U, Norfolk State) I couldn't help rooting for UVA after that historic first round loss last year, Coach Tony Bennett is a class act and how he managed to get those kids through that is truly miraculous, Congrats Hoos, finally a champion not named North Carolina, Duke, Kansas, Michigan..

Sorry for Auburn and Texas Tech this team only loses to ACC rivals and thanks to Michigan State for eliminating Duke and likewise to Gonzaga for doing the same to Florida State.
With 4 different teams no less, and two with multiple titles. Too bad Maryland left the ACC, otherwise it would be 9 titles with 5 different teams. What other conference can say that?
