    I installed the add w1 can on my 2022 q50 turbo. I was impressed with the build quality of this kit, can and fittings. the can has a nicely designed baffle system that should work well. My problem area was removing the old hose, some silicone wax spray helped but it took a lot of pulling and prying to get it out. the new hoses were easier to install

      Hey I installed mine , but I’m concerned about he hoses , it’s slightly kinked at the connections because it’s not the oem hose and also one of the hoses touching an area where it gets really hot , will it melt ?

    I put the Mishimoto Catch can on my Red Sport. I get about 40-45cc of crud at each OCI of 4K-5K miles. I checked at 1K, then 2 k, etc. until I realized 4-5K miles was fine. I do Blackstone oil analysis at each change. Baised on the data 0-20 works fine. Direct injection needs a catch can!

    Great video! I’m about to install the exact one on my q50. Question, does it say in the instructions (because I haven’t received mine yet) that it works best with the hoses that long or can we cut the length down to better route/fit? They seem to long.

    I take it no real difference in performance over the Mishimoto, more of a preference thing. The dip stick is a nice additon tho, saw you can put in a small house and use a plastic syringe to extract oil out instead of disassembly

    What happened to the original oil catch can you had? You made a install video months ago and suggested you supported that brand. After watching that video i bought that product. What happened?
    After you put some miles on the car with some hi-performance driving with that catch can installed, pull the clean air outlet hose and for example run a gun bore cleaning rod with a clean white patch into the hose. Let's honestly and with an unbiased point of view see how well that Tripple Twister baffle design really is at catching the liquidified vapor contents.
    I'm always leary of reviews where the reviewer recieves the product for free. That's just me.

    • @EnthusiastPOV
      @EnthusiastPOV  4 года назад +1

      The original catch can was fine and there is nothing wrong with it. If you purchased it then you should still have a solid product. I bought the catch can to show it to all of my viewers my intention was never to keep it not sure what gave you that idea. Your preference on how you see videos or products on my channel may not be what you’re looking for. I’ve always given my unbiased review on products I’ve tried. The Mishimoto catch can felt unfinished and this one does with the exception of the bracket which I feel Mishimoto executed much better. The triple baffle system will be reviewed once I open it up in 500 miles just to see what it has done.

      @GettingthruLife 4 года назад +1

      @@EnthusiastPOVYou say "my intentions were never to keep it. I dont know what gave you that idea".
      You installed that product on your car and you bought it with your own money is what gave me that impression...so yea, seemed like you bought it to use. No where did you mention the fact that it was just for demonstration only purposes. With this said i knew it was a good/tested product so im not blaming anything against you for flip-flopping. Just seems like you and your other Q50 partner float around to whoever sponsors your videos as to who you promote. I understand that thinking but that rarely leads to the best and most authentic product presentations. Free stuff usually doesnt add up to the best stuff. 😞

    • @GettingthruLife
      @GettingthruLife 4 года назад +1

      @@EnthusiastPOV To see how well it actually works which is the whole basis for buying something like this is to check the out going clean side hose for oil and other content. Now since you've gotten supported by the company with a freeby the answer is will you provide a unbiased and truthful review in the future? If you don't give a positive update/future review then that company will be upset with you. See how that works?
      Also, the comment that the first reviewed CC seemed like unfinished or something is an out in left field comment. What did you expect for a under the hood item that catches oil? Hopefully that it caught 99.9% out the junk that gets sent back into your motor. There is nothing more that needs to be done to the Mishimoto to make it function any better. Oh, that's right some colored decorative "machined" aluminium pieces and a carbon fiber inlay which makes your version they sent you something like $230. Mishimoto makes a carbon fiber version as well and what counts is they test their products and develope them in house in the United States. After that they are then produced in china just like ADDW1 and 95 precent of the other good in the USA for now.
      Hey man...this doesnt mean the end of the world for me...im happy with the first product you reviewed and i also tested it to see that i got my moneys worth. It's catching 99.5 of the crud that otherwise would be going back into my combustion chamber and sticking to my intake valves. Sorry to come off so negative but had to get off my chest.
