    I was honestly horrified to do the plugs and coils on my car, thanks for taking that fear of those intercoolers away. Saved me a ton of money doing it myself.

    Damn jiffy lube quoted me 650 and Infiniti quoted me 775 to change my spark plugs. Looking at this video I feel I can do it myself

    Which spark plug socket did you get? The walls on mine are too wide

      You can just use a 15mm 3/8 drive or 5/8 spark plug socket.

      ​@sombratheq50 Are you sure on the socket size? I just bought the plugs, and they're require a 14mm or 9/16.

    Quick question, are the autozone spark plugs the same as the z1 Motorsports or is there a difference? I need to replace my spark plugs for my q50.

      Tbh I really don’t know if there’s a difference,I think you should be fine with the ones at autozone , go to autozone and ask if they already come pre-gapped just to make sure. If not you can gap them yourself with the tool

    Did you torque the plugs down? Or just use about the same strength it took to loosen them to tighten them ?

      I used my own strength to tighten them , just make sure they are tight , don’t go crazy and over do it.

    So question did you have to gap the spark plugs or you don’t have too?

      They supposed to come pre-gapped To factory 0.031” (0.8mm) but it’s always good to make sure

    My q50 original spark plugs has 95k miles. How frequent should they be replaced considering they are iridium?

      I’ll say every 35-40k miles just to make sure , I think it’s time to get some new spark plugs lol , almost 100k miles with the stock ones.

      @@sombratheq50haha…I just ordered them. Checked on NGK website and it says 80k-100k miles for iridium ones and 40k miles for platinum. The original ones are iridium so I’m not that bad 🤣

      People on the forums say around 14 ft lb (so like snug plus ⅛ turn)

      @@sombratheq50 was your car running rough? from what we all know iridium plugs don't need to be changed until 100k miles, just curious what made you change them.

    Hey bro. Which z1 intercooler couplers are those? Mine ripped and I need to replace them. Is it 2” to 2.5” or the 2.5” to 3”? Or something else entirely?

    How did you get your air filters gold? Is it vinyl?

      It’s not the air filters , those are the intercoolers or (watercoolers) they are wrapped by Gold reflective heat tape .

      No , I didn’t disconnect or bleed the coolant hoses

    Great tutorial! I also really like that wrap around the intercoolers, it looks nicely done and immediately caught my eye! Is the wrap the real gold heat reflective material? Or is it just gold in color for looks?
