when Tom Hanks thanked Ali "very enjoyable conversation" you can hear how surprised he actually is because most interviews must be very tedious for the stars. yup, Ali truly is a great interviewer.

I dunno. Not to say he's fake in an insulting way, but he definitely at this point knows how to handle an interview and show off his better traits. He even said as much on one of his Nerdist episodes: Even when he's tired and frustrated he'll always cover it up and smile in an interview because people deserve better than the real rage he can be in sometimes deep down. I'd say someone younger with not as much practice such as the new Tommy H (Tom Holland) is much more genuine right now. But as he gets older himself, he'll learn the same tricks too. But replace "genuine" with "nice" and you're spot-on. I'd prefer someone that is forceably playing up their niceness (so long as it isn't hiding psychopathy) than someone who is being genuinely horrible, anyway.

18:51 Tom's last remark to the interviewer is huge for the receiving end. Interviewing people can be a nerve-wrecking experience. You have to make the interviewee feel comfortable to draw out the rich answers you want, you have to ask the right, relevant question, making sure not to offend the interviewee in any way, you're never sure if you have enough interview material covered to conclude the interview, the list goes on. After you're done, you almost always don't know whether you did a good job or not, and trust me I've had a handful of interviews gone bad. But if you hear from the interviewee something like that, it gives you such an encouragement boost that can last months.

My kid is 16 months old and every time the scene where all the toys reach for each other before meeting their doom in movie 3, he reaches out to grab whom ever is around hand. He gets very sentimental. Most amazing feeling ever.

What I was thinking when I rewatched three smh
Just watched Toy Story 4, its the best movie of the whole franchise. I came in laughing and left crying, such a brilliant and charming movie not to be missed

@@chrishandsome4267 For me, I loved the character development so much more in TS4 for both new and old characters. I've to agree that TS3 ending was just as significant and is arguably on par with TS4. But there's something almost endearing about Woody and seeing his character evolve, bo peep presence didn't pander to the cheesy feminist trope and forky existential crisis was so entertaining to watch and almost relatable. I grew up with TS series all my life, and perhaps TS4 characters and their themes relates to me now more than ever.
Also the stunning animation and how far TS has come in terms of animation on fur (Cat scene) and rain scene, the idiosyncrasies of some of the smaller role characters and attention to detail on the foreground and background of some of the scene is truly stunning.
Only problem I had with it, as sweet as it was, was Woody leaving Bonnie. I don’t know if that’s growth for the character or a betrayal of it.
Tj Fryer I guess you can defend that decision by saying that Bonnie doesn’t really care about woody anymore, as evidenced by not being “picked” to get played with and just overall ignorance of him.

On the way home I said that I never asked for TS4, because TS3 was perfect ending for me, but I’ll be sad if there’s no TS5 where all of them are together again.

While we all felt Woody's character in TS4, I say Buzz also took a hard hit which made the ending even more emotional. Woody being content with his decision, Buzz had to accept it and let go
