Multiple reasons : not necessarily China crap, but made in China ; hallows are expensive, hard to find and not that much better for LED conversion. Old lights? Why when I put old seal beam lamp with reflective lens, that barely gives any light output on the road , Back into 80s car? If you didn't know, these cars came with two types of headlights : European and US market. So, cars with US market lights, also known as sealed beam, had H4 connector. Those lamps that you see in the video, also have H4 connector . Those lamps they came with European headlights are easier to convert to LED with a little bit of knowledge of low-voltage . And finally, a lot of people desire a different look, such as black headlights . I recommend you watching couple other videos that I have with similar headlights, but different versions of them on one of the cars, maybe you'll have a little bit different opinion.
