They look like a decent product as a whole but it is going to be tough to top a set of authentic Hella e-code smilies. I'm also a BMW 'purist' and halos imo belong on e36 and later chassis cars. To each his own.
Just bought these and I have no idea how to wire them in. I'm not going to be using and after market bulbs just the ones that they come with and I don't want to tap into my side marker since I need them to pass inspection. How do I wire these?
wiring in the headlights will be the same process. just use some wiring connectors like the ones I used in the video to connect the headlights to the chassis wiring and or order euro e30 connectors on the chassis side and the headlight wiring should mate right up because the headlights are technically euro headlights. As for the halos you can still use the side markers for power and still have the side markers work. if not you will just have to find another power wire that gets power when the e30 headlight knob is pulled to the first position. If you want the halos always on when you turn your ignition on you can do that or if you want them to turn on with the headlights simply wire them in with the headlight wiring. Hope that helps and makes sense. If you need any more help, let me know, happy to help!
These used to be sold on ebay. Doesn't seem like they are available anymore. Atleast not with the bright white rings. You can find them with a warm white rings
Sorry for late reply. You can wire them straight to power...so tap a wire or a fuse that is used once engine turns on...maybe tap power going to the radio...there are plenty of wires and fuses that are hot when ignition starts...even the fuel pump...hope that helps
@@Bnnzyy the low beam and high beam are just using the factory wiring going to the factory bulbs. The angle eyes you need to take power from some where that gets power when you pull the headlight switch into the first position. i used the side markers which get power in the first and second position of the e30 headlight switch
@@Bnnzyy if you go on ebay and search "e30 angel eye headlights" it will come up. Although the bright white version seems to be hard to find. The warm white seems to be easier to find.

Definitely hard to top oem smilies...but I'm very happy with these. Some like, some don't. Absolutely to each their own
very good work, well done!!!

The link to the Chrome headlight opens a headlight for a Suzuki Jimmy. Can you update the link please?
Unfortunately the chrome ones are super hard to find in combination with the bright white rings instead of the warm rings these days
Is that the set that sell on amazon? Or do u have a link please

I like those, but to me those halos, should not be on when you have those main lights on(if i say right word/meaning)
You can wire it in however you'd like. Personally I like the look of them both on
The lens are made from plastic or glass?
Glass
Do u know if u can still run the headlight intake?
Yes you still can. Each headlight can be removed like an oem bracket
I want my halos to power on when I turn the ignition on, how can I do so?

Those black high beams are useless
To each their own. They work just fine for it being one and barely ever need it for how bright the bulbs already are
not a fan
Appreciate your opinion. They are definitely not for everyone
