I’ve been wanting to know what the magic to cleaning these lenses are for ages and so many people have differing views and recommendations but it looked like you nailed it so I’ll be following suit 👍 Does it do any damage to the reflectors these chemicals and rice?
I just checked the price for new rings (the silver bezels), my dealership wants €50 for each.....x 4 and i just laughed at how stupid they charge for the smallest items. I shall be repainting mine ^^.

Thank you 😊 there was no visible damage to the reflector. I believe its a metal reflector that was chromed from the factory so very tough 💪👍
What colour and paint kind did you use to paint the ring?
Generic silver paint that looked similar to the original. Primed with 2k epoxy and clear coated

Sadly the chrome in mines peeled of from this rice method…

I wish i read this comment before. I just ruined my original Black Hella headlights for e30
Dont clean them like this inside. The Chrome inside just vanished from my original Black Hella lights. Looks shit now and cannot be repaired
Also it didnt even remove the haze 😂 thanks for nothing. Please report this video.
