I agree, plant friends are definitely the best! I love the way your area turned out and the plants look great hanging from the rod.

But Tension Rods are much easier across a recess window, there's no drilling, just turn it to tighten : )

If you take down your shades, leave the square boxy part with the front panel up that you slide your shade into. I removed the shades in my kitchen and dining area. Instead of inserting the shade, I now insert a dowel rod. No need to add anything and you have that faceplate that now covers the rod. Mine were dark green wooden shades, so the dark green faceplate with the plants hanging is nice, At christmas, I put other things on the rod.

I would love to hang all my trailing Hoyas at my window. But don’t like drilling holes and damaging my walls. So i only do if they are going to be permanent in there places in my home. Also sometimes we don’t know what is behind the concrete we had a few episodes where there are metal so could not drill. So had to fill in those holes and repaint. Ended up buying a metal detector so we know where to drill which is kinda expensive. Been thinking using extendable poles instead. I do like the hanging rod i would have gone with the white bracket’s and white hooks. I am a fan of neutral colours.

This reminded me that I have been thinking about making a similar setup for my Hoyas in my South-West facing windows!! I still have to figure out how to make it work tho, since I still want to be able to open my window (It's a hinged window that opens up like a door) So I would have to make the rod easily removable and the holders can't be too thick. We'll see what I figure out XDD

This was so soothing to watch, and so inspirational! I would really, really like to know where to get the type of self-watering container from which to took the Hoya Chelsea out of At 6:50 minutes on this video. They look perfect for some baby plants that I have growing in PON and that I want to upgrade from a plastic cup for something more aesthetically pleasing. I browsed through your Amazon store and a handful of videos that seemed pertinent, but didn't find them. Thank you!
