    As a fellow human obsessed with wood objects the phrase "they go click clack, they remind me I'm alive" was more relatable than I ever thought it would be. I love those wood blocks on an elastic string for when I have an episode

    Thanks so much for this, my 6 year old is undergoing the process for an autism diagnosis, and she also has anxiety. Sometimes a normal day is TOO MUCH for her and we're working on her "calm down kit" right now.

    Hey pixie! I have recently seen videos of function of beauty going around and people showing their hair falling out or getting extremely damaged eventually in the long run! I understand you’re sponsored by them but I just felt the need to let you know because I wouldn’t wish that hair loss upon anyone and just wanted to make sure you’re aware and careful:)💞

      i used fob and my hair fell out too but also my scalp was SO ITCHY. like right after i showered, which i've never experienced before. they refunded me and then told me to change my hair goals, and put no scent or color after i told them my concerns. so i decided to try again and the same thing happened. every youtuber i watch is sponsored by them and i just don't understand why it didn't work for me :/

I really hope these RUclipsrs don’t actually use the hair care products they’re sponsored by since all of this info is going around. Its so weird how they’ll tell us to try out these things and then it literally ruins stuff lol it kinda sucks and again I’m really sorry that happened to you I can already hear lawsuits upon lawsuits coming their way cus of all this. “It’s what she deserves”😌✋

    It's also nice to have a cute little plush keychain hanging over your jacket/ bag for a quick grab. I have this pikachu tail plush that is perfectly sized for my hand, and I have it hanging right where my arm fall down. It's also a little more descreet way for people who don't want to bring too much attention to themselves, not that it's any shame in stimming, but myself I just hate the stress of people poiting it out.

    just a tip regarding emergency prescription meds- you should get extra stickers from the pharmacy to make sure that your meds are all labeled and up to date. this way they're a lot less likely to get mixed up if you're having someone else hand them to you, and you can easily remove anything you no longer take (or use it before it expires). it also keeps everything legally compliant, since some areas have laws against keeping prescriptions in alternative containers.

My first time having a big panic attack in adulthood, I had no idea what was going on, my friend took me to the ER in the middle of the night, and I couldn't remember anything about myself, barely managed to write my name, my friend had to help me figure everything else out from my phone and it made everything so much worse.

    You can't really put them in a bag, but I always find ice cubes a really useful grounding thing, just to squeeze or rub on your pulse points to slow your heart rate and bring you into the moment.
    TRIGGER WARNING for next lil bit:
    (if you, like me, find yourself sometimes running into physical booboos, like Pixie said, it can also be a really good delayer or substitute)
    Love to all, hope you're all doing okay :3 xxx

    This is such a great idea. Definitely going to work on one myself. I have pretty bad anxiety, got autism and I dissociate a lot or have derealization/depersonalization moments in my life. Stuff like this would definitely help me to ground myself. I started bringing a soft watercolour paintbrush to appointments so I can brush my hand and feel that I am still present!!

      I see people being sponsored by them on RUclips all the time and of course they always have great things to say about them bc sponsorship. I've never seen anyone say something bad about them. Whats the problem with them?

    • @ninjapiratess
      @ninjapiratess 3 года назад +1

      RachelMaksy on RUclips also uses them and likes them. I'm wondering if it's a hormonal thing that depends on the person as to whether it reacts negatively to your scalp health/hair. I've never used them.

    I never thought of mementos of the past as "grounding" but now I totally understand. I used to hang on to so many things just because they were nostalgic for me, without realizing they were also grounding devices. So interesting!

    I bought a little planner notepad to put in my backpack,and just do random things with it. But mostly put stickers in it:and write what I feel in that moment. Self care is hard for me. But I definitely agree having something is important.
