Danny Bonaduce of "Partridge Family" fame released only ONE solo album, which bombed and was quickly forgotten (unlike older sitcom brother David Cassidy, but much like younger sitcom tot Ricky Segall's solo album, both failed to live up to the golden Partridge standard and tanked)..
So here is Danny's one and only solo album (which, of course, Danny couldn't sing, and wasn't allowed on any of the million-selling Partridge Family albums) which came and went without any acclaim or fanfare...
There's BARELY any music from this forgotten record online (maybe one or two tracks, but the full album has never appeared online anywhere until now) and we are pleased to present a very nice clear vinyl rip for your pleasure!!
Bonaduce's self-titled debut LP was released in 1973 by Lion Records, a subsidiary label of MGM Records. The single from the album, "Dreamland" was a minor hit (shockingly, must have been a slow week on the Hit Parade that week)...
Off-key and double tracked vocals and studio tricks galore!
Filled to the BRIM with cliched lyrics, sugar sweet & sappy bubblegum pop, this doozy is SURE to either give you cavities, bloody ears, or will install a permanent cringe on your face.. (Internet Review)

as good or better than todays music
The 70's Agh, After school teen clubs.
I kind of love it !
Imagine the parents of daughter's from this era, hearing this on repeat as their child swoons.
Especially when one of the earliest lines is "Honey I''ll make love to you."! YIKES!
Danny has admitted that someone else was doing the primary singing. His vocals were laid on top on theirs.
Same with Leif Garret and in some cases, Leif didn’t sing at all! He talks about it in his book.
This before he was discovered by Mr. kinkade.
Better than Yoko Ono.
Anything or Anyone is better than Yoko Ono! Danny Bonaduce fartin’ on a snare drum is Grammy worthy in comparison!
@@gunnarjordan6980The sound of a dying cat sounds better than YOKO!
He should really revisit this material.
He's not with us anymore.
@@leonardlos3209 Yes he is. David Cassidy isn’t.
@@gunnarjordan6980 I'm sorry i was replying to a Sean Bonniwell post... i must have replied to this post by accident.
ah, those pre-steroid vocal chords! 😉
LOL. but i am pretty sure he worked out religiously.
.. gee, I wonder why his singing career never took off?
i hear that
oh c'mon......it sounds fine. but by the time he got around to doing this, most partidge family/david cassidy fans were starting to discover heavier music, like alice cooper...my guess.
It’s a mystery no doubt.
Does Danny ever get to sing?
Nice try Danny. At least you gave it a shot!
Singing is more than carrying a tune.
jeez, people here are harsh....tony defranco was doing the same thing.
