Thank u so much! C4D has so many "hidden" features, it's quite hard to get all of them through the manual for instance. This kind of tutorials, regardless of the time they are created, are really precious. This one in particular :))
Great tutorial! thanks! It does leave me curious if there is any way to make the outside clones travel to the center faster so they don't lag behind (i.e. everything snaps to the middle at once, with no"stragglers")? Super useful tutorial regardless!

how do you set a mesh as an attractor instead of a point
Still working on this - but I'm nearing a solution. If you create a separate cloner, make the attractor a child of this cloner, and set the cloner mode to "object" (with the object being your desired mesh) it should work, with some tweaking.

its cool but when i'am doing this with typography, all the letters are going crazy and they are catapulted everywhere

Maybe try toning down a few of the levels, like the bounce, then bump up the friction.
