That’s called a tie bar, between the outboards. It’s used for high-performance, multi-engine setups (outboard & stern drives equally) and it’s designed to minimize vibration and sideslip. You get a noticeable improvement in top speed and fuel efficiency at high speeds. Thanks for your great videos!
Had a twin set up like this years ago. It broke in rough conditions. Until this happened, we didn't realise it was secured by a single bolt! Good to see this looks far more robust.
I love these clips........Dan, “Keep you eyes up, look out and be safe!” and “Watch out for divers and Whales!” and “If I go quiet I’m concentrating to be safe” - Also Dan in the same boat on a test drive, “Now I’m at full throttle, sick! 200Knots! Listen to those engines!”. Best boat reviews ever, hands down. Seriously, all the info and a lot of fun, thank you Dan👍🏼🤣😂
I know Cigarette needed to do a image change to connect to the family market. I'm old school and just don't like the European look even though it may perform better. Go fast with Cigarette and Apache back in the day, and I won't change. Great walk though and presentation thank you.
I used to dream about the old Scarab, Cigarette and Magnum boats back in the 90's and they are still totall cool. I'm more asking the question if this is a style that could complement that one day?
I don't believe this boat is a Cigarette design and manufacture. If it is it's one of the worst Cigarette styled boats I have seen. I think this is misleading information. It is my understanding that Hydrolift is a German boat building company.
@ I got Friedrichstadt on the Eider River Germany from their site on the internet. You may ultimately be correct. Certainly not the American speed boat builder Cigarette, which is sad because one RUclips boat salesman has caused confusion that makes it appear to be marketing deception. My research suggests that Hydrolift make some very good boats in their own right.
@@bobjuniel8683 No i never said it was Cigarette the brand i was asking the question is this a future Cigarette style that could take off? It's a Norwegian company that is well known for fast boats in the Fjords of Norway. Also i'm not selling anything on here - I'm just testing them. No connection with dealers, boat sales or factories just to be clear.

Tie Bar - thankyou!

She's a beautiful looking boat at any speed. Although the head needs some... work.
Hi , an explosive review ? we now where you got your experience from at an early time of life , nice boat and yes please .😎👍
My next boat. Love it😊

Haha classic - love this!
Never been a fan of boats that run all the seating down one side of the boat
Beautiful boat but the heads is poor and having a mattress near the loo is not appealing at all.
24:16 good luck to the person who gets to sleep by the dunny.
😂
Wtf would a non-material bag be?!
Air-bag, an empty bag, a substance bag. A bag that does not have loose items in it that are generally kept in the same location.
Im confused. Cigarette is a brand, not a style. And this is an Axopar style/knockoff, not a Ciegarette boat.
Axopar is also a knockoff 😂
Oh many people in Aus refer to Cigarette as the style. Yes I understand it's a brand too

@BoatLife_DansBoatLife Absolutely, evolution in Boat building is always exciting! Thanks Dan
🙏 👍 🇨🇷
Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice shame on me.

Thanks for clearing that up, I just couldn't see Cigarette doing this no matter what.
No i'm not referring to Cigarette the brand - I am asking the question if this design could be a European take on the Cigarette style?
Just worth mentioning; Hydrolift is a well-known Norwegian manufacturer. Not German.
